CHAPTER -9

Author's POV:

In evening

After getting ready for Sangeet everyone comes to the dance hall. Yugant and everyone sitting on their seats and talking. There came the Rashmi and rumika. Everyone is staring at them. Rumika saw everyone only when her eyes met with the yugant and she realised she was matching with the yugant rumika wears a light pink lehenga and the yugant wears a light pink kurta .Everyone sits and Rashmi was teasing rumika that she was matching with the yugant and she became nervous. After sometime the dance started and everybody on the stage dancing.

Rumika's POV:

Everyone was dancing on stage as it was an open round while dancing I don't know when I came near yugant. I was dancing and he was just standing aside while we were having eye contact and I got butterflies on my stomach. I came to my senses when I was dragged by someone and carried away on the terrace of the hotel. It was reyansh I saw him breathing heavily "Reyansh are you okay and why did you bring me here" i asked him but he again started breathing heavily I went near him and held him by his shoulders. "Reyansh are you......". "don't say anything and I wanted to tell you something" he said while calming down by cutting me. "What do you wanna say" "I love you, Rumika" he said while holding my hand.

"Are you in sense reyansh i thought that you are joking around me but....." "No rumi it's not a joke, i really love you" he replied looking at me. "You know it's can't possible, you are like my younger bro......." "No don't say that I hate this brother word from your mouth and why it can't be possible, do you like someone else or do you like yugant Bhai" he asked in frustration "Are you crazy why would I like him, i don't even know him properly and it's just I never had feelings for you an........" He hugged me suddenly which made me shocked, is he psycho or what. Why didn't he get it, i tried to push him but he hugged me tightly "Reyansh, leave me" I said pushing him but he was not listening "Reyansh lea......" Only when I heard clap sound.
"Wow wow what a fantastic view huhh Miss Rumika Shah" I heard Ruby, reyansh left me and stood far away from me while looking down. I turned and saw her coming towards me.

Author's POV:

In Rashmi's Mansion

Everyone was there standing looking at Rumika and reyansh while listening to Ruby. "How could you do this rumika, he's like your younger brother" she said making rumika clutch her dupatta tightly. " I'm telling you the truth, I did not do anything" rumika said in teary voice. "Ohh really then let us ask to reyansh, tell us reyansh what actually he did to you on terrace" she said while looking at him "umm v-vo." "Tell us reyansh don't scared" "umm rumika di tried to force me on terrace" he said making everyone gasped.

Rumika's POV:

He replied which made me look at him in surprise "are you out of your mind, do you even know what you are saying" Rashmi asked him all in frustration. "Please reyansh tell them the truth, tell everyone that whatever you have said now is a lie" i request him "why am I lying, it is the truth, don't you know that you said I'll come in a relationship with you only when you proved yourself good in bed. I know i confessed to you that I have a crush on you but you just made a disgusting deal."he said how could he lie that much."No, it's not true i......"
"Stop now, what kind of friends do you make, Rashmi. These type of girls know very well how to manipulate others in their tricks." Meena aunty said and I'm listening looking down when it's not my fault at all. Why did reyansh lied, what happened to him suddenly. "I think it's a misunderstanding, i....."
"No, it's not misunderstanding, it is the truth aunty, don't you know how this girl to you and especially to Yugant only to get attention from rich family boys." Ruby said cutting shivani aunty. "Yes, and I don't think we need a girl like her in family functions, you can go from here" Meena aunty said which made me look towards her and then Rashmi. "If rumika leaves from here then I'll not marry" Rashmi said to Meena aunty "you are not the one to make any decisions and go quietly to your room"."no I'll not go anywhere" Rashmi replied in anger to Meena aunty"reyansh, ho and take your sister to her room". And he took her while she refused to go but she was to go. "how could you be so shameless and....."

"It's enough now" kareena aunty stop Ruby to say further and she came towards me and held my shoulders. "I don't know who is true and who is false, but yes I'm sure that there is a misunderstanding, Rumi I think...."
"It's okay aunty, all the problems have arised cause of me once I leave from here everything will be fine" I said cutting her while wiping my tears. "But where and how will you go" "I'll manage aunty and thank you for loving me and it's not in destiny to attend my bestie's wedding" I said and went to my room to bring my luggage.

I came from my room only to see reyansh and Rashmi. I ignored him while Rashmi hugged me "I'm sorry please stay, where will you go at this hour" "please don't say sorry it's my fault that I came here and I'll manage to go" I said her and went downstairs I saw everybody one by one "I'm sorry beta" Mahesh uncle said joining his hand "please don't say sorry it's just i could not get along with you all and today i really know my place and what will happen if I become a CA, I'll still belong to a middle class family. " I said and he just caressed my head. I move further "don't you even show your filthy face to us and this the result of messing with me" Ruby said and I looked at her in shocked and I know that she is the behind in all this mess. I moved further only when my eyes met with yugant. He stood, leaning against the door of a room observing everything and then I went from there but I don't know where.

It's been a half an hour, I tried to book cab but the server is not reachable I sat on nearby bench beside the park. It was 10.30 PM at night. The area was not deserted. I was thinking what had happened suddenly, why reyansh lied to everyone and why would Ruby do all this? I thought suddenly a car appeared and stopped in front of me. The window slides down of a car only to see that he was Yugant.
I stood up and he came out of the car and walked towards me. "Sit in the car" he ordered me "no, and why have you come here, you didn't say anything there that's why you have come to say bad things to me, right?"
"Don't try to stress your mind too much, and I don't have time, sit quietly in the car" "no and why did you come when you don't have time and I can take care of myself, also I don't want to go there anyway." I replied while denying him "I'm not going to take you there" "but..." "Now if you say something, i swear I'll pick you up and throw you in the car" he warned and I was about to pick my luggage but he took it and put it in his car's dickey. I was about to sit in the back seat of the car but "sit in front" he said while I nodded and sat on the passenger seat, he also sat on the driver seat and started the car.

"If you don't slow down I'll get out of the car" I said and he hummed. "BTW where are you taking me"
"At your home" "do you know my address" i asked and he again hummed. "How did you get to know my address" " I have my ways, you don't need to bother about it and now sit quietly".
"Can I ask you the last question" I asked and he again hummed "did you come here for me" he hummed again "why" "didn't you ask the last question?" "Please it's really last, why did you come here?"
"Your dear shivani aunty doesn't want anything to happen to you, she wants you to reach home comfortably" he said this means that he did not come on his own will but in the insistence of Shivani aunty. But why am I feeling bad about this.

After an hour we reached my home, I got down while he took out my luggage "umm don't you come inside" "No" he replied while leaning against the car. "Umm Thank you so much" "hmm"
"Tell this to Shivani aunty" I said and turned to go but i turned back and laughed at him " Thank you to you too" I said while he smiled to which I feel butterflies in my stomach he looks so handsome when he smiles , i slapped my mind thinking this, he signalled me to go inside I nod and went inside...
