Next day

At evening

Rumika was helping in the kitchen as today everyone will arrive.
She heard the sound from outside and she went into the living room.
Everyone arrived and she was waiting desperately for them.
"Aww my sweet girl how are you?" Shivani asked while hugging her.
"I'm fine I'm missing you all" she said, shivani accidentally held her hand and she hissed in pain.
"What happened dear are you alright, how did this happen rumi?" Shivani asked loudly and everyone came towards them and saw her burnt hand.
"It's just a small inj......"
"Keep quiet, Does this seem like a small injury to you? Your whole hand is swollen. How did this happen?" Dadi asked me
"Umm actually I was pouring hot water in a container soo......"
"And why?"
"Umm pedicure Chachi yeah" she said slightly smiling at them.
Yugant was looking at her she can't even lie properly and smiling unknowingly looking at her.
"You can go to a salon too?" Dadi said to her.
"Relax everyone I'm fine" she said and everyone looking at her in anger.
"There is no relaxation, you are just banned from entering the kitchen" dadi said and I looked at everyone with puppy eyes.
"Don't show this eyes to us, no means no get it" mom said.

"Wait let me introduce you to someone, shahana came inside" she said and Rumika looked at her in confused.
While the trio looked each other in tension and slap their own forehead.
"Ruby was not enough and now this has also come" Avyan said and they both nodded.

Shahana came inside and greet everyone.
"How are you yugant, I'm sorry I was not able to attend your wedding but where is my bhabhi? I wanted to meet her"

"Yes didn't you see yugant's wedding pics she is the daughter-in-law of our house"
Shivani said and shahana was looking at Rumika in frustration and confusion.
"W-what is her name?" She asked rumika
"Rumika, wait CA Rumika Sooryavanshi"
She said and the girl was looking at her in shocked.
"But where is Diya?" She said and Rumika felt a sharp pain in her heart.
"Umm shahana come sit here"
"No aunty don't change the topic, yugant Where is Diya? You were going to marry her, then this girl?"

"Shahana we'll talk later"
"No yugant tell me now why did you marry this girl when you loved diya?" She asked her and there rumika who was continuously listening everything controlling herself to not burst in tears here.
She was already suffering cause of Ruby then now why this girl?

"Why is everyone silent? Don't tell me yugant that you were forced in this marriage, I know this girl surely manipulate you............"

"Shahana, Enough is enough now and don't forget that she is now the daughter-in-law of this house" Sharda said in anger and shahana was staring at yugant who went to his room.
"Come shahana sit here" Reena said her and she smiled and sit with everyone.

Rumika's POV:

I went to my room cause I just can't explain what am I thinking everything is so confusing, the web was creating in my mind.
I opened the door only to see yugant was standing near a balcony, he turned to me when I entered in the room.
We had a eye contact and I can see that he was trying hard to control his emotions.
Suddenly I got the call and it was of my boss Shiv.
I picked it up

On the phone

-hey rumika Where
are you? You haven't
come for so long, are
you okay?

Yeah, I'm fine it's -
just I burnt my hand
while cooking.

-oh Is the wound
not too severe, right? If
you want, I can come
to meet you.

No, no need sir-
I'm completely fine
now, You asked me
that is a very big thing
for me......

-oh don't worry about
Work and if you need
something then don't be
hesitate to ask me, and
get well soon to join
again.

She cut the call, only to see yugant was staring at her like he'll eat her up.
"W-what happened? Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked getting tensed.
"Why can't I see now?" He said and started coming closer to her, she was walking a step back from him.
"N-no I m-mean ju........"
"Who was on the call?" He asked her still walking towards her.
"Umm m-my b-boss"
She said.
"I told you earlier don't stammer when you are talking with me, didn't I?" He said and she nodded while walking back.
"I. Want. Words."
"Y-Yes sorry yes" she said and her back hit the door of the closet.
He smirked at her and still taking steps towards her.
"Why did he call you?"
"To ask why I have not been coming company for so many days, is my health alright?"
"And why does he care so much?" He came near her and put his hands beside her on the door caging in between his arms, hovering top of her.
"I don't know" she said while looking down.
"Look at me whenever I am talking to you and I hope I don't have to repeat this again" he said and she looked at him. He can sense her heart beat rising due to the closeness.

He leans against her But the next thing that happened embarrassed him a lot.
The door opened and they both landed on the floor of the closet. Yugant was top of her and both was having a intense eye contact.
"Aahh What are you eating that you are so heavy? Now you are happy, you are acting like a hero. Get up now or will you make paste of me"
"Your tongue comes out at full speed for a fight orelse you stay like a coward"
"You can talk nonsense later, first get up quietly, my hands and stomach are hurting."
She said but instead of getting he leaned towards her their nose was almost about to touch they can feel each other heart beats.
"Y-yugant p-please get up"
"What if I said no" he said and she shot open her eyes and they again had a intense eye contact.
She closed her eyes cause of pain in her hands and stomach.
"There is no need to do too much drama, first you made me fall and on top of that you are acting innocent" he said while getting up.
"you don't make me open my mouth without any reason understand" she said while getting and caressing her hands.

He looked at her and came towards her "You better tell your boss not to call you"
"He is my boss and he will call me whenever he needs work from me."
"Just stay away from your boss and don't talk to him even if there is some work"
"There is no need to be a very possessive husband, and I'm not like you anyway" she said and he stared at her while raising his eyebrow.
"What do you mean?"
"Ohh common Mr. Hubby Do you need to be explained? Kyunki tum to vaise hi gharwali aur baharwali banane main mahir ho (cause you are already an expert in having a wife and a gf)
She said and his orbs turned dark.
She was about to go but he held her hand which was burnt, she hissed in pain, his hands grabbed her hand her injured part more tightly "L-Leave m-me y-yug aaahhhh i-its h-hurting" she said trying hard to remove his hand.
She was having intense pain.
He pulled her closer the distance between couldn't be seen.

"The more you control your tongue, Rumika, the better it will be for you because I will not feel ashamed to say that I hate you and as for your boss, if I come to know that he has something else in mind for you, then you can't imagine what I can do." He said grabbing her hand tightly, tears were flowing from her eyes.
He left her hand in jerked and went out of the room.
She looked at her hand and the red marks could be seen. She lay on the bed with a pillow and buried her face in it So that she could shed all her tears and feel lighter...
