CHAPTER -16

Author's POV:

After two weeks

At Rumika's home

Everyone is happy as the date of the marriage is scheduled next week on Saturday and all are preparing for wedding rumika was sitting on a couch with her family deciding for menu for wedding "no, it's my wedding I'll choose understand" she said to her bhaiya only then her mobile rang to see Shivani mom she immediately picked the call and greet her.
"No mom doesn't need to bother we will come on our own". "okay mom" and she hanged up the call.
"What happened?" Her mom asked "she said that we'll go shopping and they will pick us up but i denied her cause it will take almost 1 hour to come and go from their home so." she said her mom and went to her room to get ready.

At Sooryavanshi Enterprises

Yugant's POV:

I was working in my office only then my phone rang and it was mom. Hell, now she'll forced me to go with her in shopping.

On the phone

-Hello yug are you
Busy my son?

Yeah? Why-

-Can you please come
with us for shopping?

No mom i cannot-
I have an important
Meeting in half an
hour?

-Please can you
Postponed you know
It's urgent also rumika
will be coming...

No mom it's -
It's important and
whatever you
Choose it's good...

-but....

And I ended the call i don't want to argue with her anymore and when she said rumika will be coming so i didn't want to go anymore and I lied her that I have an important meeting. And i again get busy in my work. But i again got distracted by my phone call only to saw dadi on the screen.

On the phone

-What's your problem
Mr. Busy man, why you
are not going for shopping?

Umm I have an -
Important meeting
Dadi otherwise I
never denied.

-ohh it's okay but i
talked to atharv he
will took care of your
work, now i don't want
any excuses go with them
and select a nice lehenga
for my daughter-in-law...

Fine I'm coming. -

And she ended the call I knew mom will took help of her cause I never denied my grandparents demand. Only then atharv came in my office with his mischievous smirk and I threw a paperweight on him but luckily he catches it.
"Can't you speak a single lie?"
"Nope i never lie Bhai, also she can knew that am i speaking truth or lie to her and go don't worry for work" he said and i get up while giving him death stares.
"Bhai ho sake toh first night ki bhi taiyaari krke aana jisse baad main dikkat na ho aapko (you main come prepared for the first night so that you do not face any problem later)" he said which made me turned towards him and i took my steps closer to him "bhai I was joking don't take it seriously" he said while running in my office and i too ran behind him "s-sorry Bhai, I'll not say a single word now" he said and i smirked in satisfaction. "I like this fear of yours" and i went out to go home.

I reached home in about half an hour as soon as i stepped my foot inside I saw everyone staring at me with smiling and hooted loud and I made a disgusting face "you have 10 minutes if you not sit in the car within 10 min I'll go to office" I said "don't worry we don't took a single minute" mom said and she made her way outside avni, Chachi, and Avyaan came to accompany me, i sighed while my dadi smirked at me and i gave side eyed to her while she smiled and I went out.
They all settled in the car and we went to our usual shopping showroom of designer clothes.
I parked the car only then I saw rumika's car is also arrived. We all went out and mistakenly my eyes met her and we had a eye contact she smiled and i took my eyes away from her and Avyaan and her brother came towards me while we three together went in.
His brother is so smart so kind, i not have problem with anyone in her family I have problem with my family.
Only then the manager of the showroom came towards me
"Namaste sir, you are very much welcome" he said and i nodded with a handshake "how can I help you Mr. Sooryavanshi?" He asked me "your son is getting married next week so we need good and latest designs for him and our daughter in law" mom said to him.
"Sure Mrs. Sooryavanshi BTW congratulations sir" he said i nodded "let's come in this direction I'll show you the best ideas for you" he said and we followed him and sat in his guidance "look mam you can see this" he said to ladies while we boys are having our conversation.

Rumika's POV:

When we reached here I saw a yugant I was so happy to see him we also had eye contact i smiled but he ignored me and removed all the rubbish thoughts.
We headed inside the showroom it was a really luxurious showroom only then did the yugant greet someone, I think he was a manager and he guided inside the direction.
We are selecting a lehenga for my wedding. Shivani mom was too much picky, she wanted everything best and beautiful. She chose some lehenga and tried on me but she said it was not looking good. Then the guy who was showing us brought the beautiful lehenga it was actually really pretty she told me to try. I went to the trial room and after struggling too much I came out after wearing the lehenga. Everyone's face became O shaped and i laughed at their reaction Everyone gazed at me but that rude guy did not even look up. What's his problem and then "woww it is looking so nice on you, rumi" i smiled at shivani mom's words.
"yugant look at her" she said to him and looked at me i saw him and we had a eye contact he saw from me head to toe and my cheeks blushed after his stare but he again removed his gaze from me. And I went to change again. They selected some sarees, suits and many things for me and then we did some shopping for the yugant and everyone else. It was almost 8 PM and we are leaving the jewellery showroom. We bid bye to them and shivani aunty kissed on my forehead and we went to home.
Today the whole day he didn't talked to me not even looked at me . I don't know why but I feel he was hiding something but again I removed all these shits from my head and glanced at his sketch which i thought to gift him on his upcoming birthday. And i slept while having my imagination with him.
