CHAPTER -13

Author's POV:

"Umm we wanted to say something to you both" shivani asked them while Rajesh and Meera looked at each other and nod "umm I know this is going to be a little early, but I can't stop myself " shivani said "it's okay if something is bothering then you can tell us" Meera said to her and they smiled "I like rumika very much, not just me, but everybody in our house likes her a lot, isliye main rumika ko apne Ghar ki Bahu banana chahti hun (I want rumika to become the daughter in law of my house" shivani said while there rumika standing listens everything.

Rumika's POV:

I came after ending my call and when I came I saw shivani aunty holding my mom's hand and said "main rumika ko apne Ghar ki Bahu banana chahti hun" shivani aunty said while holding my mom's hand and i became shocked standing there. No i don't want this I don't want to marry too early. Shivani aunty saw me and came near me "I know it's a shocking thing for you but trust me Rumi i always see you like my daughter and when I saw you first time my heart says that you be my daughter in law and I know also know that you have feelings for yugant, right?" Shivani aunty said looking at me while caressing my face "Now we only want to hear yes from you all" uncle said looking at dad and mom.

"It will be a matter of good fortune for us that our daughter will become a daughter in law of Sooryavanshi's house" dad said and mom smiled looking at shivani aunty "It will be a yes from our side shivani ji" mom said to her which broke my heart.

"But I'm not happy with your decision" I said to everyone after gaining strength to speak for myself and everyone's attention towards me "but why dear don't you like us or it's about Yugant" Shivani aunty asked becoming sad.
"No it's not about you all aunty it's about my will I don't want to get married so soon I just want to do a job right now. By getting married this freedom will be taken away from me, and I will be deprived of a job like a confident girl." I said to everyone "but you'll have to get married someday so why not now?" Mom asked me while coming towards me.
"I have not refused to get married,
I am just saying that i will never be able to work after getting married so i want to fulfill my wish" I said to mom.
"We'll never refuse you for a job, but will treat you like our own daughter, you'll no need to any house work. Also if you want to study further or want to do your own business you can we'll always be there for you my dear." Shivani aunty said to me in a sweet tone while caressing my face as if she want me not to break her heart by refusing. She looked at me with watery eyes for which i controlled myself and hugged her and she caressed my head while smiling "I know you'll never refused me trust me I will not let even a single tear come to your eyes, hmm?" She said while pulling away from hug and i nodded like a good girl.

While everyone smiled and hugged each other "Now you don't have to worry, she is our responsibility now" uncle said to dad while hugging. "And don't worry about the job we'll find it together for you" uncle said me caressing my head and i nod like a good girl while shying.
"I'll ask my mother-in-law and tell you about the further rituals and also about the engagement of these two"shivani aunty said and when she took the engagement name butterflies began to dance in my stomach. "Okay then we'll take our leave now we all are a family" uncle said to dad and they left from here.
I closed the door and when I turned my mom and dad were staring at me and giving a mischievous smirk "w-whats with that look" i asked them "i can't believe my daughter is going to become the daughter-in-law of such a good family, now you should improve a little" she said and I gave her an side eye look and I hugged her while my dad caressed my head and then i run to my room cause of awkward environment. As soon as i came into the room I went to the study table, I took my sketch book and opened it and made myself sit on the chair and continue to sketch my future husband. Aah it's so weird, just yesterday I was sure that I like him and today my relationship with him has been finalized. What is he thinking right now should I message him that our relationship is finalized. No rumi bad idea be a girl let him message you now. I said and made myself indulge with his sketch.

Author's POV:

At Sooryavanshi's Mansion

Everyone was busy in their work only then shivani and Rajiv entered. Avni and Avyaan run to them to tell them the good news of their bhabhi (sister-in-law). "What happened there badi maa" "yeah what happened mom" they both said "can you both please stop shouting I will tell everyone don't worry" and she sat on the couch and everyone was present there.
"What happened there, shivani did they say yes?" Sharda asked to her while she sighed and smile.
"Umm, okay so they said yes while rumika also said yes" she said and told them everything that happened an hour ago. "Wooww, bhabhi is about to come into our house" avni said to everyone and started doing small dances with Avyaan joining her and they started to sing "bhabhi aavegi re mahri bhabhi aavegi (song)" and started to roam around in the house and everyone laughed seeing them getting too excited only then their excitement ruined when they saw yugant standing near the door listening their song and staring at them in confusion. "Oohh hii Bhai you came too early today" Avyaan said stopping avni from singing and they both stood.

He came towards them in slowed steps and stopped in front of them "Whose wedding preparations are going on?" He asked them in his deep voice "yo...." "No one bhai he listens to this song today and started to sing it while I'm too enjoying his funny dance" she said stopping Avyaan to tell the truth to his brother in nervousness. He nodded and went to his room only to see Atharv was there standing holding his laugh "why did you both come early today?" Reena asked him "the work got done early So we came early. BTW what are you both hiding?" He answered his mom and asked both crack heads. "You won't tell bhai, right?" Avni asked and he nodded while avni looked here and there and some towards him and whispered in low voice "bhabhi is coming soon in our house" she said and he smacked her head while making a disgusted face "ohh wow and who is this girl? Don't bark about anything" he said and started to move but stopped when he heard the name "we were not lying, the girl name is Rumika Shah and if you don't believe asked to badi maa" Avyaan said and he looked at them in surprise and moved to Shivani that are they saying truth. "Are they saying it's true that Rumika is going to be our bhabhi?" He asked Shivani and everyone laughed and she nodded "take my oath" he asked again to make sure "yes, it's true i swear to you" she said putting her hand on his head and he smiled a little while everyone told him everything that happened today at Rumika's home. "But now don't say to anyone especially to Yugant" "and what don't you tell me?" Yugant came from behind while hands in his pockets "nothing beta just they all are becoming crazy day by day" shivani said in nervousness and he nodded.

After sometime everyone was sitting on a dining table and having their food in silence.
"After eating food Yugant goes to the study room, I and your mom have to talk to you about something important" rajiv said and yugant stared at his mom in confusion while she nodded in little. And they are two monkeys laughing knowing that their Bhai is going to get good news. While atharv eating in silence knowing what is going to happen next is something terrible or again the dad and son argument is going to start...
