The silence was almost absolute.

They had been ordered not to talk to each other and to wait patiently until the last one finished with the ritual, so they couldn't talk or make any kind of comments.

After Minghao came Seungkwan, who was very pale and abstracted. He sat next to Minghao and stared at his hands, as silent as the rest, almost puzzled. Seungcheol kept looking around him. Jeonghan was biting his nails and seemed anxious. Joshua crossed his arms and legs, fixing his gaze on the ground.

Junhui kept shooting glances in Minghao's direction, speaking without words. There was a question in his expression that was obvious to the other boy.

«Something happened, right?» said those eyes, and Minghao nodded.

«Yes, something very wrong... Don't tell me that you are too?»

Junhui nodded back. Minghao couldn't believe it, opening his mouth and hiding his hands inside his coat, encircling his waist.

«It's too much, with one was enough»

The leopard's eyes widened, nodding again.

«We are not the only ones»

Minghao sighed, agreeing with him. Among them there were more. There wouldn't be that tension invading the room if everything was normal.

Soonyoung smiled, not at all mortified. Wonwoo was as serious as ever, although he noticed the restlessness of the oldest of his generation. Jihoon remained like a grave, it didn't even seem like he was breathing from how still he was. Seokmin looked calm, as did Mingyu, who also noticed that the young man next to him didn't stop moving, restless, something rare in Minghao. Seungkwan didn't even look up when Hansol walked in and joined them. They only had to wait for Chan and they would be moved to another room.

Some feared, others already accepted their reality. Chan arrived faster than the others, even in that he showed his diligence. Nothing in his gesture seemed out of place.

The thirteen were in that room, accommodated in that circle, in total silence.

Minghao was going crazy. Junhui kept shaking his leg and Soonyoung raised his eyebrows in his direction in a silent question because of his concern. Seungkwan raised both hands to his face and the two younger than him looked at him with concern.

And when the tension almost made either Jeonghan or Junhui stand up because they couldn't remain still and silent, the door opened, revealing the chief of the Wolf Clan.

No one was waiting for him, but Minki, chief of the ravens. But Kibum walked until he was standing in the middle and looked only at a few of them, naming them.

"Yoon, Hong, Moon, Lee Jihoon, Xu and Boo, come with me," he said, without waiting for the boys, heading outside again.

"Father, what's going on?" Mingyu broke the silence, turning around in the seat to address his father, who didn't turn to look at him.

"The rest stays there." It was what he said in his place, and Mingyu was worried because he noticed his father's upset gesture. Something wasn't right.

"Why are they calling you? Something happened?" Wonwoo asked the boys, but no one answered him.

Those named stood up and walked with their heads down and serious under the gaze of the others who didn't understand anything. One by one they went out the door, leaving only the remaining seven, confused and without answers.

"Well, I guess we can break the silence now, what the hell is going on?" Said Soonyoung, with a gesture as puzzled as the rest of the boys.

"I don't know, but this isn't supposed to happen, no one warned us about something like this," Seungcheol said, looking towards the closed door, worried about the boys who left.
