They did not have to wait long in their usual state of being at the mercy of the information given to them by the alpha chiefs, since after admiring the northern lights, the Council (the Spirits) addressed them to their surprise.

The Spirits were ancient and wise, the essence of the shifters, the legacy of Lilili and Yabbay. The soul of each shifter was special, it was divided into its human part and its animal part. It reincarnated in them from past lives, and even in the stories of their civilization it was said that they came from other worlds, so different and similar at the same time to their own; that transcended space and time.

Those in charge of putting their souls in a body were the Spirits. They knew each shifter since their birth. They did not dictate destiny, but they did guide it, especially those with the most sensitive and closest spiritual connection, the representative members of the 13 Clans. And among them there were more sensitive than others to that connection and messages.

Among the current chiefs, the one with the greatest sensitivity to the influence and communication with the Spirits was the chief of the wolves, Kibum, although the clans in charge of these matters were the Raven Clan, of interpretation and action plan, and the Hare Clan, about communication and administration.

But Chief Kim perceived the Spirits in a different way, more acute and direct. Sometimes they communicated with him in a special way. Those with that spiritual sensitivity were called «serac».

"Yesung, the Spirits showed something to your son that to the rest didn't," Minhyun said, looking at the cheetah chief. They were back in the Aegis Room while their sons continued in their animal forms with the Council.

Yesung opened his eyes, surprised with that information that the chief of the hares had not commented on.

"Are you saying my son is a serac?"

They automatically turned to see Kibum, who nodded, confirming.

"The Spirits chose him, he has a unique sensitivity, even greater than mine. They told me they showed him something very important."

Yesung let himself lean on the seat, perplexed, with pride and surprise in his expression.

"My son is a serac... Incredible."

He didn't doubt it, Minghao was always very sensitive to certain things and saw details and patterns in the world around him that others didn't.

"Do you think that what the Spirits showed Xu's son has to do with the presentation of the omegas?" Amber, chief of the coyotes, walked towards Kibum, who had his arms crossed over his chest.

"Yes," he answered directly. "But he doesn't remember, otherwise he would have already told us something, right, Xu?"

Yesung nodded. "Minghao wouldn't hold back important information if he understood it. Then he doesn't remember it..." His son already had enough of having presented himself in a gender that he didn't expect to now receive the news that the Spirits had chosen him as their spokesperson and recipient of messages.

Kibum spoke again, running a hand through his dark hair. He was a black wolf unlike his son, a brown wolf.

"No, since he not only presented his secondary gender as the rest, but he also awakened as a serac. It was too much information and his mind was overstimulated, wasn't it, Boo?"

Minhyun nodded.

"When I entered the room he was convulsing, it was a lot for him."

Yesung clenched his jaw and fists.

"The fate of our sons and the future of the 13 Clans depends on what Minghao saw. Whatever the Spirits show him as a guide," Minki said, crossing his arms as well, dark eyes passing between everyone.
