Junhui no longer received a reply to his messages from Minghao and the next day he was nowhere to be seen at school.

At lunchtime when the 13 of them met up, one was missing and although Jun sent him more messages, he still received no response from his friend.

"Minghao went with the Kims yesterday, right? Mingyu might know something, it's a possibility"

Junhui looked ahead at the firstborn of the wolves and he seemed very serious, which was unusual for his personality.

"Mmmm... Mingyu?" Jun called out to him and the brunet boy looked up from his lunch.

"Huh?"

Wonwoo also looked at Jun, as he was sitting next to the brunet boy. With Mingyu's attention on him, the firstborn of the leopards asked him the question.

"Did something happen yesterday when Minghao went with you for his serac training?"

Mingyu seemed to pale, opening his eyes wide, suddenly becoming nervous, looking away. He was a very transparent person.

"Ah... Why do you ask?"

Junhui immediately sensed that something had indeed happened. He became worried.

"Haohao hasn't responded to my messages and he didn't come today. You're the last of us who probably saw him, so I was wondering if something happened."

Mingyu looked uncomfortable with the question. Wonwoo looked between the two of them, also noticing his best friend's expression.

"Something happened, right? Please tell me he's fine," he asked with lowered eyebrows. Mingyu didn't answer right away.

"He's fine..."

Though Mingyu was also worried because his father took Minghao away and didn't tell him anything about his condition anymore and he didn't expect him to miss school that day either.

"What happened to him?" Jun asked, wanting to know what had happened to Minghao. Again Mingyu didn't answer right away, seeming to think about what to say, but in the end he said it.

"His heat... Minghao had his first heat. When he was with me."

Junhui was surprised and so was Wonwoo.

"What? You and him...?"

"No! Nothing happened."

Thanks to his father intervening, otherwise Mingyu was still thinking about what would have happened if the two of them had been left alone.

"Oh, Haohao... So that was it."

Mingyu nodded, picking at his food.

"So nothing happened?" Wonwoo spoke. Mingyu hadn't told him anything about that.

His friend looked at him and shook his head.

"No. My dad brought Xu back to his house. I didn't hear from him after that either."

"I have to see him after school," Jun said, letting out a sigh.

"Can I go with you?" Mingyu asked without missing the opportunity. It didn't seem right to go alone to see the firstborn of the cheetahs, but if he went with Jun it wouldn't be so weird.

"Yeah, if that's what you want," Jun replied, although surprised that Mingyu wanted to go see Minghao. "I'm going with you too," Wonwoo spoke again. Jun and Mingyu looked at him, but neither of them said anything about the jaguars' firstborn wanting to go too.

They continued eating lunch until it was time to return to class and each went their own way.
