Wonsik tied Joshua to the post and the firstborn deer looked at Seokmin, who was also looking back at him despite the distance.
"Okay, Hong, I hope you call your alpha too because I won't make it easy for him."
Joshua looked at the adult shifter without a particular gesture. He also knew what Wonsik wanted, after their previous training and how poorly they did as a team, the soldier wanted them to at least learn to act in pairs.
Wonsik went to the panel and let Seokmin know that he would be starting soon. The boy took a breath and let it out. Seeing Joshua tied up and vulnerable was motivation enough for him, he would try to reach him as soon as possible despite the obstacles in his path, he would not allow the deer to be harmed.
The rest of the boys watched from the stands. Jeonghan had already warned the omegas that electroshocks really hurt.
Then the timer started and the enemies appeared in front of Seokmin who started running, being part of the Athletics Club he was good at that.
He dodged the first attacks, because even if he knew how to fight, it would take up time and he just wanted to reach Joshua as soon as possible.
However, the holograms could become tangible and prevented him from continuing to run, attacking him.
Seokmin began to fight, throwing off the enemies, kicking and punching them. He advanced between them and Joshua saw him. Seokmin was peaceful, but right now he didn't seem like it.
Joshua didn't have time to think about it because an electric shock made him scream.
"Ah!"
Joshua closed his eyes, trying to get away from the tip of the cane, but the other side also hit him and he screamed again.
Seokmin heard this and looked among all the opponents at Joshua further away, who was being tortured by the enemies.
The boy frowned and a light invaded him, transforming into his animal form.
The imposing horse neighed and raised his front legs, striking at the enemies and beginning to trot very quickly.
"I think it's time for you to call him." Wonsik smiled sideways and in the horse's path some high fences for jumping crossed his path, making him stop momentarily.
Joshua looked at Wonsik with lowered eyebrows. He wanted him to use his omega cry like Jeonghan had done with Seungcheol. Wasn't it too much? An omega cry was for emergencies.
He who understood biology very well knew that it was used by omegas when they needed the protection of their alphas. The latter reacted immediately and all his instincts became greater. Their sympathetic system was activated to the maximum and they had superior abilities in order to answer the call of their omegas.
But using it at those times...
Joshua felt another shock and gasped, because like Jeonghan had said, that hurt. And it wasn't an emergency, he could handle it, but still, he was thinking about something. The deer didn't want to feel like this, with a distance between him and Seokmin.
There never was, but would the alpha actually do something? Would he court him? Joshua wasn't sure what Seokmin would decide.
He wasn't sure of anything, but he could be sure of something if he tried.
"Seokmin!" He cried, calling to the alpha,
And even though he didn't feel it was necessary, he used it, because he wanted to prove something. He wanted to see if Seokmin responded to him, that he considered him... If he considered him his omega rather than a duty.
