In the tranquil embrace of the living room, the ambient glow of the television series enveloped Jungkook's solitary presence. Lost in the flickering images on the screen, his focus was unyielding. Suddenly, Jimin's entrance disrupted the serene atmosphere, his countenance marred by perplexity.
"Hey... Where's Grandma?" Jimin's voice pierced the silence, echoing softly against the walls.
Without tearing his gaze away from the captivating display, Jungkook's response was measured, almost detached. "I sent her home."
Jimin's brows furrowed deeper, his confusion palpable as he clasped his arms over his chest. "What? Why?"
The air grew heavy with tension as Jungkook's neutrality persisted, his eyes steadfastly fixed on the screen. "Because dad sent her here deliberately."
A flicker of realization danced across Jimin's features as he pieced together the puzzle. "You sent her away against her will, didn't you?" His tone carried a hint of accusation, his eyebrow arching in silent interrogation.
Jungkook's response was a subtle acknowledgment, his demeanor unwavering. "Something like that."
"Why do you want me to leave?" His grandmother's voice, tinged with a hint of desperation.
"Because that's what I want." With a steely resolve, he attempted to coerce her into the confining embrace of the car's interior.
"But you know what your dad used to say." Her gaze bore into his soul, a silent plea for empathy, for understanding.
"Yeah, I know," Jungkook retorted bitterly, his frustration simmering beneath the surface, "and I have it in my ass.."
"I'm not going anywhere!" Her voice, tinged with defiance.
"But you will go." Jungkook's words, tinged with a hint of resignation, carried the weight of inevitability.
"No!" Grandma's protest, a fierce battle cry against the encroaching shadows of separation.
"Grandma!" He raised his voice, clearly annoyed.
"I'm staying here!"
"No, not by chance!" With a final, desperate push, Jungkook attempted to overcome her resistance.
"Leave me!"
"You're miserable..." Jimin muttered under his breath, his voice barely audible over the sound of the TV. He rolled his eyes, frustration simmering beneath the surface.
Jungkook merely chuckled, his attention still fixed on the screen. The air between them grew thick with unspoken tension, each moment stretching out into an eternity.
"It's so boring here," Jimin finally interjected, unable to bear the silence any longer. His words hung in the air, tinged with a hint of desperation. He turned to Jungkook, a flicker of hope in his eyes. "Don't you want to do something?"
"No," Jungkook replied curtly, his gaze never leaving the TV.
Jimin's frown deepened. "It's the weekend. You should enjoy it."
Jungkook remained unmoved, his expression impassive. "Don't you happen to be busy with your fashion designs?"
"I've already finished them," Jimin explained, a note of exasperation creeping into his voice.
"Wow," Jungkook muttered, his tone devoid of interest as he continued to ignore Jimin's presence.
Jimin sighed, his patience wearing thin. "So? Will it be?"
