The air was thick with tension as Yoongi's laugh echoed through the dimly lit basement, his voice dark and unsettling.

"It was a mistake for you to come here," he sneered, the sound of gasoline sloshing in the air as he began to pour it on the floor. His eyes flickered with malice, fixed on Jungkook and Jimin as he moved. Each drop of gasoline seemed to add to the growing sense of dread in the room.

"You wanted to play hero, huh?" Yoongi continued, his voice dripping with venom. "Well, remember, a hero can't live long."

Jungkook stood his ground, trying to remain calm, his eyes flickering between Yoongi and Jimin. He knew he needed a plan, but Yoongi’s unpredictability made everything harder.

Yoongi set the gasoline down, his eyes glinting with an icy determination. He raised the gun, pointing it at them, forcing them to retreat further back. His lips curled into a malicious grin as he spoke, the words slow and deliberate. "I'll make sure you don't get out of here alive."

The weight of the threat hung in the air, suffocating. Yoongi’s gaze never wavered as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a lighter. He flicked it open, the flame igniting with a sharp click. Without hesitation, he tossed it onto the gasoline-soaked floor. The moment the lighter hit the ground, an explosion of fire erupted, flames licking up the walls and filling the room with a deafening roar.

Yoongi stepped back, as the fire consumed the space. "So?" he taunted, his voice low and mocking. "What are you going to do now, hero?"

The heat from the fire clawed at Jungkook’s skin, but his focus was solely on Jimin, who was visibly trembling. Jimin’s breath hitched, his eyes wide with panic. He could hardly stand to be this close to the flames, but his thoughts were all on Jungkook.

"J-Jungkook!" Jimin cried out, his voice strained.

Jungkook’s instincts snapped into action. He didn’t think—he charged at Yoongi, determined to disarm him and end this nightmare once and for all. But before he could reach him, the loud crack of a gunshot rang through the air.

Jimin screamed, hands flying to his ears, the noise unbearable. The world felt like it was closing in around him, his body shaking with the weight of his trauma. His vision blurred, unable to process what had just happened.

"Run, Jimin!" Jungkook shouted through the chaos, his voice urgent. His eyes locked with Jimin's, trying to convey the command.

Jimin hesitated, his whole body frozen, his mind screaming to stay by Jungkook's side. But his instincts were still screaming at him to run.

"Go!" Jungkook commanded again, his voice cutting through the smoke and flames.

Jimin’s feet moved before he could even think, his heart pounding in his chest as he turned to run. His legs shook with fear, but he pushed through it, running out into the open air, where Namjoon’s car was speeding toward the cabin.

Behind him, the fire blazed higher, and Yoongi’s dark figure stood silhouetted in the flames, watching them escape.

Jungkook lunged at Yoongi, the roar of the flames surrounding them like a chaotic symphony. His hands clawed for the gun, his movements desperate and fierce. Yoongi snarled in defiance, his grip on the weapon ironclad. They struggled, bodies colliding violently as they wrestled for control.

With a sharp twist, Jungkook wrenched Yoongi’s wrist, forcing him to release the gun. It clattered to the ground, skidding across the floor. Yoongi roared in anger, slamming his elbow into Jungkook’s ribs with brutal force. A pained grunt escaped Jungkook, but he refused to back down.
