Namjoon sat on the edge of the couch, his mind racing through possibilities. Jungkook was pacing back and forth in front of him, fists clenched, his frustration building by the second. The weight of the situation hung thick in the air, both of them knowing how much was at stake.

“We need to get more information before we move," Namjoon said, his voice steady despite the tension in the room. "We can’t just go charging in without a plan."

Jungkook shot him a frustrated look, his eyes burning with anger. "How can you be so fucking calm about this?!" he snapped, his voice sharp with panic. "Jimin is out there, with that psycho! You don’t get —I’m the one who has to fix this!"

The words hung in the air between them, raw and desperate. Namjoon opened his mouth to respond, but before he could, the phone rang, cutting through the heavy silence. The screen flashed an unknown number.

Namjoon frowned. "Huh?"

Jungkook’s head snapped to the phone, his muscles tensing. He instinctively reached for the receiver, his heart hammering in his chest. “Who the hell is this?” Namjoon muttered, his thumb swiping the screen to answer.

He held the phone to his ear, tension curling in his stomach. "Hello?"

A long pause followed, then a faint, strained voice that made his heart stop.

"Namjoon… It’s me. Jimin."

Jungkook’s breath hitched, his voice trembling with relief and worry. "Jimin?!"

Namjoon’s grip tightened on the phone as he leaned forward, his gaze locked on Jungkook. “Jimin, where are you? Tell me—exactly where you are.”

There was a shaky breath on the other end of the line before Jimin’s voice broke through again, barely above a whisper. "It’s a cabin…"

Jungkook interrupted, his heart racing. "Cabin??"

"Yes..." Jimin continued, his voice shaky. "I can’t... I don’t know how long he’ll keep me here. You have to hurry. I have to go or he will find out that I’m calling…"

"Jimin—"

But before Jungkook could finish, the line went dead.

Jungkook’s entire body froze, his hand still gripping the phone, now only filled with silence. Namjoon’s face remained unreadable for a moment as he processed the short conversation. He let out a slow breath, his thoughts working quickly.

“A cabin in the woods...” Namjoon murmured, as if to himself, but loud enough for Jungkook to hear. “It’s somewhere Yoongi used to take Jimin. I know exactly where that is.”

Jungkook’s eyes burned with determination. "Then we go. Now."

Namjoon stood up slowly, his hand running through his hair, the weight of the situation clear in his eyes. “Sure, but let’s inform the police too. We can’t go in alone, not with Yoongi’s unpredictability. They’ll be able to help us.”

Jungkook nodded, the anger and worry never leaving his face. “Fine. Just hurry.”

He couldn’t shake the image of Jimin’s terrified voice from his mind. His only thought now was to get to him before it was too late.

Jimin’s fingers trembled as he stepped out of the bathroom, the door clicking softly behind him. His heart hammered in his chest as he forced himself to walk steadily, his steps quiet and calculated. His gaze flicked to the living room, where Yoongi was still sprawled on the couch, eyes glued to the TV, the flickering light casting sharp shadows across his face.
