"Seems like they're waking up."
Azul suddenly shot awake, immediately getting into a sitting position as both his hands covered his mouth. His face was completely flushed as he stared at the ground as if he couldn't believe something.
Meanwhile your eyes slowly fluttered open as consciousness came back to you. Your head was laying over Yuu's satchel, that had been put under there as some sort of pillow.
"Oh, hey, yer awake." What you were met with was Floyd's grinning face, upside-down, as he looked down at you from his spot on the floor.
"Azul, how many fingers am I holding up?" Jade was instead crouching by the silver haired housewarden, holding out eight of his ten fingers in front of the latter's face.
"Er... Eight?" The still flustered octo-mer slowly lowered his hands before giving a very hesitant and unsure response.
"Still in shock, it seems. But your blot-induced rampage has subsided at last." The calmer twin smiled faintly, nodding once in acknowledgment.
"That little tantrum you threw really put us through the wringer, y'know." Leona complained with a scowl, holding his head as you were helped in a sitting position.
"Uh, Leona, I'm not sure you get to say that." Ruggie awkwardly pointed out with a crooked grin while sweatdropping.
"What did I... do?" The boy in glasses quietly asked, briefly glancing at you, beside him, before quickly forcing his gaze on the others.
"You overused your magic and overblotted. You don't remember it?" The usually neatly dressed sibling, whom was pretty worn out from the fight, gave a passive smile.
"You were tryina suck everybody's magic dry left and right, bawlin'- Give me your poweeerrr!" The more blunt mer-eel made an overly high-pitched impression of his childhood friend, holding your shoulders from behind and slightly shaking you when acting out said part, still on the ground.
"It was the cringiest thing I've ever seen. I'm still not over it." He then made a disdained grimace, casually resting his chin on top of your head.
"Oh, no... Me, going berserk?" Azul adjusted his glasses, looking incredulous as he breathed out.
"I don't believe this..." The sophomore then hung his head, a palm over his forehead.
"Hey, I can't exactly blame a guy for gettin' bent outta shape when something you've been building up for years gets ruined." The dirty blonde hyena casually threw in a bit of sympathy.
"I mean, if someone broke the coin bank I've been saving my money in, I'd hold a grudge for life." He also added, sulking angrily as his ears flattened on his head.
"But all those shady business dealings have gotta stop. You oughta learn from this." Grim huffed, scolding the half octopus while resting his paws over his hips.
"Thank goodness we have someone as wise as you..." Yuu mumbled quietly to themselves, slumping their shoulders in resignation.
"How about you guys learn not to coast through exams using someone else's notes?!" Jack had his muscular arms folded over his chest as he gave the fiery beast a sour glare.
"Wait... speaking of the deals. All the contracts got..." Azul appeared to gain a bit more of lucidity when the destroyed scrolls got brought up, causing him to instinctively pat his jacket, as if in search of something.
His heart seemed to rise back up from relief when finding a folded piece of paper in his internal pocket, pulling it out and holding it to his chest while exhaling.
