" Business tycoon Mr. Yoon Jeonghan and his wife who is also known for her sly business tactics have been found in a xxx sea shore. Spectators say the man swam across the river with her injured wife and fainted on the shore. The incident took place near 5am. As far as the media got to know, they are getting Ms. Lee Roseanne Y/n with an air ambulance to Seoul. The victim's life is at stake. "

Mrs. Yoon turned of the tv and shut her eyes tightly leaning on her easy chair. Nothing has been going on nicely these days. Her family members are falling apart. Now her son's life is at stake along with Y/n.

She got up and went towards her husband's office. As always he was working.

She knocked faintly but enough to get his attention.

Mrs. Yoon : Jeonghan and Y/n has been found. They're coming back with a chopper. ( she said nervously.)

Mr. Yoon : so? Did you send the chopper? ( he said in a husky voice.)

Mrs. Yoon : no, Mr. Lee sent it. ( she answered looking down.)

Mr. Yoon : better. Let him save his daughter. ( he sighed and started going through the papers.)

Mrs. Yoon : Jeonghan is YOUR son too. ( she tried to highlight the 'your' part.)

Mr. Yoon : Not anymore. When your own blood forgets to take your side, they don't remain yours.

Mrs. Yoon : he cannot take your side if you do injustice to his wife. He should take side of the ones he loves. That's what i taught him. ( she argued in a strong voice.)

Mr. Yoon : this is not something-

Mrs. Yoon : NOT.EVERYONE.IS.YOU. ( she gritted her teeth in anger.) not everyone is you, Mr. Yoon. My son would never abandon his wife and his loved one and do injustice to him just like you do. ( rage took over her.)

Mr. Yoon : even you got influenced from that girl? ( he asked in disbelief.)

Mrs. Yoon : no, i didn't. Everything has a limit and i have reached my limit of tolerating you. I have tolerated all the injustice you did to my son for the sake of some temporary reputation but now even when my son's life is at stake, you're being like this. I have had enough and i'm sure you have too. Stop already. ( she said all these words in a breath and stormed out of the office.)

Mr. Yoon : i brought this crocodile ( Y/n) by myself inside this family. ( he sighed and again got back to this work.)

Seungcheol pov

"Why doesn't she wake up? Are they operating her well? She is gonna be fine right!?"

Jeonghan's questions were never-ending. I could see the weakness through his eyes. This is the most desperate and helpless state of Jeonghan i'm witnessing in my life.

Love sure is a tough game.

I didn't have the nerve to tell him to rest. He was still in his wet clothes. There were small scars all around his body. Eyes were red. Body was ice cold and he was shivering badly. I knew this doesn't have a happy ending.

Still i brought up some courage and asked him..

Seungcheol : Han, you should get changed and rest. ( i was sure hesitant but this was necessary.)

Jeonghan : I'm not going anywhere without Y/n. ( he shook his head like a little helpless kid.)

Seungcheol : She's undergoing a surgery, Han. It's gonna take a while.

Jeonghan : I'm not going anywhere. ( he stood up from the waiting chair.)

Seungcheol : Han, why don't- ( before i could finish my sentence i saw Jeonghan falling on the floor with a loud thud.)

The thing i was fearing the most.

Author pov

Joshua ran the cabin just to see a sleeping Jeonghan and a tired Seungcheol sitting on a chair beside him.

Seungcheol looked at him with a questionable expression.

Joshua : he fainted? ( Joshua asked in a shaky voice.)

Seungcheol : he has been swiming for hours to save another person and what do you expect? He's probably exhaust- ( Seungcheol's voice got cut off with a third person's weak voice.)

Jeonghan : Y/n? Y/n? ( he clenched on the sheets hard and closed his eyes harder as if he was having a nightmare.)

Joshua : Hannie? Wake up? ( he lightly patted Jeonghan's cheeks to wake him up.)

Jeonghan opened his eyes and sat on the bed instantly. He looked around to process the situation and as soon as everything started to make sense, he got off the bed quickly.

Jeonghan : where is Y/n? Is she okay? ( he asked eagerly.)

Seungcheol : Jeonghan sit down. It hasn't been an hour yet. She is still undergoing surgery. ( he tried to calm Han down.)

Jeonghan : fuck all these. I'll go meet Y/n first. ( He threw away all the cannula, catheters from his hand and arm and ran oit of the cabin.)

Seungcheol and Joshua looked at each other and knew that the situation cannot be helped. Jeonghan wouldn't be sitting here knowing Y/n's life is still at stake.

?? : for once, God please let this girl be happy. ( Jisoo cried out loudly sitting on a chair outside the ICU.)

Seokmin : Noona, calm down. I'm sure Y/n noona would be safe. You know how strong she is. ( he tried to fake the fact he was dying inside too.)

Jisoo : Oh God please~ ( she started sobbing quietly as negative thoughts were eating her alive.)

Seokmin : noona, pull yourself together. Please~ ( he patted on Jisoo's back and cried along.)

Soon Jeonghan entered the place running while Seungcheol and Joshua followed him from behind.

Jeonghan : the doctor still hasn't come out? ( he asked in a weak voice.)

Seokmin : it hasn't been an hour, hyung.

Jeonghan : oh yeah. (He nodded his head lightly and sat on a chair nearby.)

Joshua : han, why don't you rest meanwhile? ( he asked in a convincing manner.)

Jeonghan : no, i wouldn't go anywhere. ( he was being stubborn like a baby.)

?? : everyone, eat something. ( Mrs. Yoon helplessly shouted at everyone infront of the ICU.)

Jeonghan, Seungcheol, Joshua, Jisoo and Seokmin.. All of them refused to eat before they get any news of Y/n.

Mrs. Yoon : you guys cannot be sitting here without eating anything all day, all night. You have to stay strong. ( Mrs. Yoon tried to be a strong person infront of the kids ignoring the fact she was breaking down inside as well.)

Jeonghan : Mom, please don't- ( Jeonghan's words were cut off when he saw the doctor coming out of the ICU.)

He hurriedly stood up and ran towards the doctor.
