a/n: don't forget to comment!

the air crackled with a tension thick enough to cut with a knife. A figure hides in the shadows of the zenin household which is now sukuna, kenjaku and uraume's base.

yorozu watches, her lips pressed into a thin line, as sukuna effortlessly lifted (y/n), his non-sorcerer wife, into the air. he chuckles deeply, a deep, resonant sound that seemed to mock her very existence.

she had come once again to gain sukuna's attention but when she could not find him, the reincarnated sorceress followed the distant sounds of feminine laughter and giggles and she pin-pointed the location of it to the yard of the zenin household; bonsai trees, large trees, bushes and shrubs with exotic flowers and a small koi pond. there, yorozu stumbles upon the sight before her eyes.

"you're surprisingly light," sukuna mused, his eyes glittering with amusement, "almost as if you're made of...air." he smirks, holding (y/n) in one arm, her bum resting on his forearm. He can easily hold her weight with one hand.

yorozu's hand dug crescents into her palm, blood drawing, her knuckles turning white. that should be me..!

(y/n), whom was oblivious to the brewing storm, giggled and hugged sukuna's neck, her face flushed with delight, "you're teasing me, sukuna!" she protested, her voice light and carefree as she giggles, happy to be in her husband's arms despite the current situations going on..—

"perhaps," sukuna's deep voice replied, his voice taking on a softer, gentler tone that yorozu had never heard him use before, "but isn't it lovely to have a wife who is so...fragile?" he smirks.

yorozu's stomach twisted. fragile. That was the word that echoed in her mind. for all the years she had known sukuna, he had never used such a word to describe any woman in the heian era, nor has he ever treated a woman with such...tenderness.

the reincarnated sorceress could only remember how sukuna was uninterested in her nor did he care about her advances when she was bare back then. to him, she was just a nuisance and it seems all the dots were connecting now.

sukuna, yorozu snarled in her mind, there is a twang of venom. you dare to call her fragile? you, who have crushed countless souls beneath your feet? she thinks in disbelief.

yorozu clenched her fists, nails digging into her palms, as she continues to watch and spy from the shadows. sukuna has his arm around (y/n), and was whispering something in her ear (a lewd comment, perhaps) that made her blush accompanied by his smirk that was full of lust and desire.

the sight was revolting to yorozu, whom felt a cold, hard knot of jealousy constrict her chest. never had she seen him look at another with such desire. Not even back then, in the heian era, has she witnessed such a depth of emotion.

how can sukuna disregard her 'love' just like that??

"how can he..?" yorozu hissed, her voice barely a whisper, "how can he love that common human like that?" the thought of sukuna's affection for another woman was an unbearable torment. A primal rage, a burning inferno of jealousy, consumed her.

yorozu imagined her own hands wrapped around (y/n)'s throat, her fingers tightening until the breath choked out of the innocent woman, the light leaving her eyes..or better yet, giving her to the curses to feast upon.

the reincarnated jujutsu sorcerer couldn't allow this. she wouldn't let sukuna's love be stolen from
her, not after all they had been through (yeah, right), not after centuries of (one sided) devotion.

yorozu would find a way to show him that her love was the most true than that human's. even if it meant resorting to the most desperate of measures.

her gaze hardened, a dark determination settling in her eyes. yorozu would continue to watch, to learn all she could about this new woman who had captured her sukuna's heart. And then, she would act.
