Chapter 24

"I'll tell you a secret, but you better not tell my mother." Sowon smiled and leaned forward, clinging to Taehyung's shoulder.

Her big eyes were looking at him sternly. "My mother agreed to let me enter Kim Corporation's Internship, partly because I really wanted to, and partly because she has actually been secretly competing with the board of directors these few months. There have been some unpleasant friction. My mother might have had an idea to work with Kim Corporation to stop these people, which is why she sent me here."                                    

"This can also be considered to be her way of inspecting this place ~"

Sowon looked at Taehyung, "Brother Taehyung, although I just graduated and don't know much about the market, I have heard cases of collaboration with MG. I know that it is very important, and if Kim Corporation can cooperate with them, then Kim's profit will increase. You must want this deal too, right?"

"You haven't even graduated yet and you've already become so smart. You can't show off too much when dealing with things like this, or you will only end up suffering. Shouldn't you understand this principle?" Taehyung smiled as he pushed Sowon's head away from his shoulders and poked her forehead again. "Sit still. Don't move."

"We are not in the workplace, so I don't need to pretend in front of you." Sowon smiled, put her hand on his arm, and then leaned over as if she didn't want to affect his driving. "Brother Taehyung, I know you aren't the kind of person who would sacrifice your feelings for the sake of a cooperation, but I'd rather you become closer to me for the sake of the corporation my mother has with you so that I can stay by your side all day and let you slowly fall in love with me."

"What do you have in your head all day?" Taehyung shook his head.

He glanced at her. "Sit still."

"No ~ Brother Taehyung~" Sowon continued holding his arm and leaning on his shoulder.

The windows of the Bentley were open and the wind blew into the car. While the black Bently passed the road, a dark gray Mercedes was parked at the intersection of the viaduct.

The Mercedes-Benz window slowly rolled down. Yoongi took off his sunglasses and looked at the Bentley with an indifferent look.

He looked back at the viaduct, but there was no trace of the car. He then said to the person the line said in a soft voice, "I'm almost there. The tires have been stuck in the nails just now. I'm waiting for someone to come and change the tires. I'll be there in half an hour."

He looked down at the time and as he spoke, he took another look at the tall bridge in front of him, and his eyes became heavy.

Last night, when Yeonjun sent Taehyung to Jennie's place, he also mentioned that Mrs. Choi had come to Boston with her daughter and grandson. Taehyung specifically accompanied them to eat and drink some wine.

Yoongi was still speculating on the purpose of Mrs. Bai's coming to Boston.

Now it seemed that it was related to her daughter.

Yoongi frowned. Just when the tire replacement came, he put his sunglasses back on and got out of the car.

"Mommy, why haven't daddy come home yet?" Jangmi was very obedient and well-behaved today. She sat obediently by the window in the living room. She basked in the sun while looking outside.

Jennie picked up the orange that Darna had just cut and walked to the french window. She sat next to Jangmi and gave the fruits to her. She then smiled as she watched the little girl eat. "Daddy's busy, let alone now only at 4 p.m. Maybe he'll be busy until night."
