Jennie continued to stare back and forth between him and her daughter. She nervously clenched her fists.

After a few days of interacting, due to Jangmi's poor health and being trusted by Yoongi, Namjoon took advantage of his free time to visit the mother and daughter pair every day.

He looked into Jennie's expression. She was confused, nervous, scared, and worried at the same time. "You must also be scared of what has just happened, so don't think too much. Sit on the side and wait for the ambulance to send the child to the hospital. We need to do a more comprehensive examination and treatment. If you continue to be nervous like this, I won't be able to take care of you and your daughter at the same time."

"Don't worry about me. Just focus your attention on my daughter. Please, tell me. Will she be all right?"

Namjoon pursed his lip. He looked at Jangmi, who had been wearing an oxygen mask, hesitated for a moment, and then said, "You must be prepared."

Jennie immediately collapsed in the ambulance seat, staring blankly at his daughter, who was being rescued. Her small body was no longer purple as before, but her face was pale with no traces of blood.

She took a deep breath and tried her best to stay calm. She shuddered as she looked at him. "What does that mean?

"Don't think too much about it for now. I let you prepare your heart so you can prepare for the worst. You told me about the child's condition two days ago. Although you haven't taken the child to the hospital yet, but I have observed Jangmi's condition recently, so it shouldn't be as simple as just pneumonia and incompatibility. The hospital you went to before is a very complicated place. The doctors can't guarantee anything but pneumonia and give the child an anti-inflammatory shot. They did not dare to admit the child to the hospital because they didn't want to be responsible in case an accident happened."

Hearing Namjoon's words, Jennie felt like she was being suffocated. She looked into his serious expression and tried her hardest to hold back her tears. He's not joking. She knew Namjoon wasn't joking.

Jennie opened her mouth, but she couldn't say anything. She just turned to her daughter, then pounced and knelt next to the stretcher, trembling as she touched her daughter's little hand. Because Jangmi had an oxygen mask on her face, Jennie couldn't touch her face, so she just held her hand.

Jennie was waiting for her daughter to shout, 'Mommy, mommy' likes she always did. However, no matter how much Jennie prayed, Jangmi refused to open her eyes.

Her daughter was nearly three years old. This Friday will be her birthday. There were still four days left until Jangmi's birthday.

Jennie held her daughter's hand tightly and bit her lip hard. She couldn't cry and she also couldn't lie to herself. She knew how bad the child's health was. All of this happened because of that man and Sana! If only she didn't bring her daughter out today, this would never have happened.

Jennie bit her lip as she stared at her daughter's face.

Namjoon watched her kneeling next to the stretcher. Her body was trembling a little and she was unable to utter a word. He frowned slightly and slowly put his hand on her shoulder. "Jennie, I will do my best and will contact the experts in the province to come and save her as soon as possible. You have to be strong, understand? If you don't, how can your child fight? Imagine how she felt when she saw you like this. I told you to prepare for the worst just to let you control your emotions. Since we haven't reached a dead end, there's still hope."

Jennie just held her daughter's hand, wanting to warm her daughter's little hand with her hand. Namjoon's voice was in her ear.

She stared at Jangmi for a while before looking at Namjoon. "How high is the chance?"
