Chapter 30

In the observation room, Jennie was leaning against the bed. She didn't seem to have slept well that night, and her face was full of fatigue. However, because she was worried about her child, she didn't want to sleep at all.

Hearing the door open, she turned. Seeing Taehyung , who had returned, she was stunned for a moment, then trying to look outside and asked, "Is Yoongi gone? He came to see me in the morning after having breakfast with his parents, and now that an incident like this has happened, I have to bother him to take us to the hospital. Don't let him stay in the hospital. During the day, he was already busy taking care of company matters and now, I'm like this, I have to trouble him more."

As soon as he entered the room, Taehyung heard Jennie asking about Yoongi. He just glanced at her before walking over and placing breakfast on the table next to her bed.

"Your Yoongi bought you breakfast." As he said this, he touched her ankle to see if there was any sign of swelling.

Jennie had originally been at a loss when she heard his words, but when he touched her sore ankle, she immediately cried out in pain, "Ah! What are you doing?"

Taehyung pursed his lips slightly when he saw how painful she was gnashing her teeth.

Seeing that he was actually smiling, Jennie's mouth twitched, and she inexplicably thought of what Jeon Rose had said before. She immediately frowned and muttered to herself, "My sister-in-law is right. You really have changed!"

Taehyung looked at her with a smile that was not a smile.

Jennie immediately blocked her leg to prevent him from touching the wound again. She said with a dissatisfied look. "Don't touch it anymore. It hurts."

"I'll see if it's still as swollen as before. If it doesn't subside, I'll call a doctor." Taehyung was not angry when he saw her bitter and revengeful expression. He just pushed her hands away before touching her ankle again. This time, he carefully and gently rubbed it.

Jennie stopped dodging as the pain stopped. She only glanced at Taehyung's serious expression while he examining her ankle, and her mind flashed back to the scene last night when he left the bedroom with his cell phone and talking to Sowon. She didn't make a sound, just looked at him as if wanting to see through him.

Taehyung stood up, looked at the time, and said, "Doctor Ella said that Jangmi needs to be observed for at least twelve hours. At this time, the child is just sleeping, and her condition is not deteriorating, so you can rest quietly in here. At night, when the child's observation period is over, I'll take you there."

There was a small TV on the wall of the observation room. Even if Jennie rested here for a day, she won't be too bored. Hearing Taehyung's words, she sighed with relief.

Although the fever was dangerous for Jangmi's physique, doctors had warned her that if Jangmi had a fever again, she must be sent to the hospital as soon as possible. Since several hours had passed and the child's condition had not worsened, this means that her condition was under control.

Taehyung initially planned to leave, but after seeing the breakfast boxes on the table, he thought for a moment and walked closer. He opened the disposable lunch box and found the dishes in it very suitable for Jennie's taste buds.

Yoongi's understanding of Jennie was no less than Taehyung's understanding of her in the past 11 years. Looking at these dishes that were completely on her taste, Taehyung closed the lunchbox without saying a word.

When Jennie smelled the fragrance, she turned around and pushed his hand away. She quickly opened the lunch box to take a look, then smiled contentedly as she picked up the lunch box and cutlery.
