Jennie had never been treated in such a manner in her life. Gritting her teeth, she glared at him. "You ..."
"This is Seoul. Do you want me to take you back to your family and talk about this in front of your grandfather?" Taehyung said coldly.
Jennie immediately went silent and looked at him angrily.
Taking her back to Park Family and talking about this in front of the Old Man?
What kind of joke was this? If the Old Man found out about this, then she wouldn't be able to leave!
"Are you threatening me?" She stared at him.
Taehyung chuckled softly and lowered his head to get close to her face. "That's why we are even."
For some reason, there was a strange medicinal smell on him, like the smell of disinfectant.
Jennie thought maybe it's because her nose wasn't working, or maybe because she used to take her daughter to the hospital a few days ago. "What exactly do you want to talk about?"
When Taehyung mentioned the Old Man, Jennie finally calmed down.
She frowned as a tinge of compromise appeared in his eyes. She had originally wanted to stay far away from him, but from the looks of it now, Taehyung's purposeful flying back and didn't intend to let her off so easily.
If she could not resist it, she would have to endure the piercing pain of him standing in front of her.
It really hurts.
Her eyes locked into him. "What do you want to talk about?" She asked again.
"Our marriage." Taehyung let go of her hand, not wanting to hurt her anymore. Seeing her wrist turned red, he backed away from her and sat down next to her while whispering, "Our eleven years relationship."
When he mentioned that, Jennie's cold gaze gradually faded, but she remained expressionless. She silently looked at his side face.
After looking for a long time, she shifted her gaze away and looked out the window silently. She didn't want to fight anymore.
Maybe a closure would be good for her.
Shangri-La Hotel was located near Beidou Avenue in Seoul and it took less than ten minutes for them to arrive by taxi. When they got out of the car, Taehyung initially wanted to grab her hand, but Jennie nonchalantly opened the car door on the other side and got out.
Seeing that she was calm, Taehyung looked at her and waited for her to stand beside him before they entered the hotel together.
Jennie glanced at the big sign, then turned around to look at the taxi that had already left. Her eyes were cold.
Since she was no longer fighting or trying to escape, Taehyung did not urge her. He just stood there silently with one hand in his pocket.
When Jennie looked back at him, somehow, in his eyes, she seemed to see something in them.
She looked at him. "What's the difference between coming to the hotel and the street?"
"I think we should sit down and have a quiet, patient talk." He replied.
Jennie took a deep breath, looked at the package she was holding, and then looked up at the sky. It was almost dark. She had initially planned to go to Greenville Residence before nightfall and brought Jangmi to stay there. It looked like she won't get a chance to go there today.
Taehyung remained standing upright, and even after entering the hotel door, he remained standing there. After a few seconds, he moved his legs, took his hands out of his pants pockets, took out a pack of cigarettes from his pockets, but he didn't smoke. He put the cigarette pack back and walked into the hotel.
