Did every word he said on their wedding night three years ago give her the tone to negotiate?

Jennie just looked at Taehyung with a cold smile. She didn't say much, but the cold smile in her eyes was deadly.

Taehyung nodded. "I know you don't want to see me."

Jennie sighed. "Kim Taehyung ." She looked at him and said word by word, "Stop appearing in my life again."

"Don't you think that you are over your head? Jennie, I can understand the hatred you have for me, but I still don't understand what exactly allowed you to be so heartless like this. Even if you wanted the divorce, you should at least let me know the real reason, right?"

Taehyung put his hand on the door. "Something else happened, didn't it? There's no way you are so heartless to me like this just because I didn't show up in the hospital."

Jennie looked at him, not saying a word.

"With your personality, even if it's for your child, you wouldn't ruthlessly take her away from me. After all, you still want your daughter to live in a healthy family, right? What exactly happened?" Taehyung looked at her seriously. It was obvious that he was certain something had happened that he didn't know about.

However, Jennie just smiled.

What happened?

Did he really not know or pretend not to know?

"Kim Taehyung , wait for the notice from the City Court. We should not meet again until the divorce has been finalized." After saying that, she slammed the door shut.

As soon as the door closed, the light source in the living room was blocked, and in a split second, the corridor turned dark again.

"Mommy." Jangmi came out of the bedroom, rubbing her eyes. She wore cute Spongebob pajamas and walked towards Jennie in confusion. "What are you doing?"

Jennie was stunned for a moment. Seeing her daughter walking out, she immediately put down the bag and quickly picked her up, "Why are you awake? Did mommy wake you up?"

"No, I want to pee." Jangmi pouted, her expression clearly showing that she was trying to hold back her bladder.

Jennie then felt relieved. At first, she thought the child heard Taehyung's voice. She patted her daughter's back and carried her to the bathroom. "Are you going to go to the bathroom yourself or do you want mommy to help?"

"I will take off my own pants, I won't need mommy's help. The kindergarten teacher has taught me ~" Jangmi said as she was being put to the ground.

Jennie smiled and left the bathroom.

She then thought about the thrilling scene in the corridor just now. Although she knew some modest self-defense skills, it was sometimes useless when facing someone with a knife. If she had not feared for her daughter's safety, she wouldn't have been so tied up and didn't dare to move.

In fact, if it weren't for Taehyung walking downstairs, the robber might not have run away.

"Mr. Kim ..." The middle-aged woman walked out. She had just heard the commotion in the corridor but did not dare to go out, so she just stood by the door and eavesdropped.

In the end, she heard Taehyung's voice, and when everything was clear, did the woman opened the door and walked outside.

She saw Taehyung standing in front of the door of the neighbor's house with one hand in his pants pocket, deep in thought.

"Mr. Kim, it's late, what are you still doing outside? Come in, the night weather is very cold."

Taehyung slowly raised his finger to his mouth, indicating that the middle-aged woman should be silent. The woman closed her mouth and went back inside. Still, she left the door crack to avoid the corridor becoming too dark.
