A pampered Young Miss of Park Family, who had gone to the United States out of anger, had taken over her brother's business at her best age had become like this. Jennie had done well in recent years and with Park Enterprise in her hands, there were no signs of falling. She had an intelligent brain and the courage to innovate and take risks.
She never looked for items from well-known brands but preferred to live a simple life like ordinary people.
And now, the once upon a time famous President Park was using the savings she had accumulated over the years to open a small shop in this little place called Illsan and the remaining money she had spent into renovating a small house of her own.
It was no longer a luxury house that Jimin left for her, nor was it a villa owned by Taehyung.
Only hers.
She had enough money to buy a comfortable house, but she was willing to stay here.
"Handbag?" Jennie smiled and held a simple woven cloth bag in her hand. "Can't you see what bag I'm holding now?"
Only then did Yoongi take a closer look at the small bag she was carrying around her waist. He looked at the white cotton dress and the bag seriously. "I thought it was just a decoration on your skirt."
"To live in a place like this, you just need a small bag to keep your phone, wallet, and keys. It's more than enough with this little cloth bag, and it is also very light, easy for me to hold. In the past, when I was the President, there was too much stuff I needed to bring in the bag." When Jennie opened the door, she looked over her shoulder and smiled at Yoongi, who was scrutinizing her. "Come in, welcome to my house."
She uttered the words "my house" very slowly and it gave a deep impression of how proud she was.
Everything Jennie had now did not belong to the Park Family, Jimin or Taehyung, but hers.
Upon entering the house, Yoongi put down Jangmi and the little girl ran to the bedroom for some unknown reason. Jennie poured a glass of juice and said, "I know you like tea. While I was following you and my brother, my brother drank water and you drank tea, while I drank juice. But I don't have good tea here now, and that tea sold in Illsan is actually not very good, so I didn't buy it and prepared it. When the time comes, I will ask my friends from Da Li Tea Garden to help me get it and send it back to the United States for you to taste."
Seeing her bright and earnest expression, Yoongi didn't sit down. Instead, he stood next to the tea table and smiled as he looked at her figure.
Jennie didn't pay much attention to his smile but instead looked into his eyes. When she saw the gentleness in his eyes, her hand froze. She then pushed the glass to his hand and smiled, "Sit down. What are you daydreaming about?"
Perhaps it was because they hadn't met each other for a year, or perhaps because Namjoon had said something before; in short, the atmosphere was somehow a bit awkward.
Yoongi just smiled and looked at her. Just as Jennie was about to pull her hand away from the glass, he casually grabbed her hand. "There's no need for you to be too busy, I don't need anything."
"Oh, then sit down." Jennie smiled awkwardly. She glanced at his hand and tried to pull her hand away.
Needless to say, Yoongi was a person who didn't talk much about a lot of things. Jennie was also the same and under such circumstances, they all knew each other very well.
Yoongi smiled and let go of her hand. Jennie immediately withdrew her hand and her gaze was focused on the glass in his hand.
Back when they were both in USA, they would touch each other and didn't feel anything even when their hands brushed together when one of them handed over the documents, but this time, Jennie's gaze was not focusing on him, it was like she can't meet him in the eyes; causing Yoongi's eyebrows to rose slightly as if he had seen through something.
