Jennie still did not move and just put the contract in her hand on the beautiful round table next to her. "I have decided on divorce, there is not much to discuss. This is a contract for the cooperation. See it if there are things you want to change, or terminate. I will leave this contract with you first, you can answer it within three days. Min Yoongi will appear to deal with this contract."

Taehyung didn't look at the contract but at her face.

He could not figure out when Jennie, who was once innocent and sunny, had become so decisive, so determined. When she said she would get divorced, it was even more satisfying than he had imagined.

He had indeed once thought of waiting for her to torture herself to the point of giving up so that she would become aware of the consequences of forcing him in that way.

In front of him was what he had intended to do two years ago.

When it finally came, she was more straightforward than he had expected.

As for him, he was much more surprised than he had imagined.

What went wrong?

Taehyung just looked at her, at the woman who had been beaten by the wind and rain for a long time yet was still as persistent as a tree. His heart, which had been calm for the past two years, suddenly felt a little sore.

He felt something stirring in his heart when he saw that she was finally leaving and that she would finally disappear from his life.

He really wasn't that stupid.

The pain in his heart was all because he saw that Jennie, who had become strong beyond his shadow, was no longer the Jennie, who was following him at his side. In the years he ignored her, she had grown into a completely different person.

He felt that Jennie was suddenly reborn.

While looking at her, Taehyung suddenly sighed. He lowered his head and looked at the contract on the table. He picked it up, looked at it for a moment, then put it down again, then looked at her again. "Even though I'm not a good person, the only thing I can tell you is that in the two years after our marriage, I haven't had a history of extramarital affairs."

Jennie didn't say a word. She just stood there, looking straight at him. Her gaze quietly fell on his face, but it was hard to tell what she was thinking.

This made Taehyung frown. "Do you know why I haven't wanted to see my daughter for the past two years?

Her eyes moved, but it was just a slight movement. There was no ripple.

"Park Jennie, blood is thicker than water. Even from the very beginning I have decided not to meet you again, the child is still mine." His eyes were staring straight into hers and his voice was calm with a slight sigh. "Right now, when I finally meet my daughter and know what happened to her, do you really think I'll agree to a divorce?"

"Kim Taehyung, my daughter and I have spent two years getting used to the world without you. She had spent the years without her father's presence. Yes, she will cry and make trouble, but you never knew that my daughter was very tolerant. If she knew that her father didn't want her anymore, she wouldn't certainly shed a single tear! And she would no longer shout that she wanted her father because she is my, Park Jennie's daughter!"

"What do you mean?" Hearing the firmness in her words, Taehyung's eyebrows immediately furrowed.

"My meaning is very clear." Jennie gently took off the ring she was wearing a few days ago because of Mrs. Kim's words and placed it on the contract on the table.
