Chapter 7

"She must be alive, right? She's survived for more than ten years, and she's not going to die easily. Even though she's very thin, small, and looks like she needed someone else's protection, she's actually smarter than anyone. She's definitely still alive. I can definitely find her." A smile hung in the corner of his mouth as Taehyung muttered to himself.

A gust of wind blew, and the smell of alcohol on his body permeated through her nose. Jennie suddenly didn't know where to put her hand. She just looked at him with a dry and unusual look.

Since then, Jennie rarely approached him. Even Taehyung's secretary noticed it and teased him a little, asking why Miss Park didn't come to see him often anymore, even asking if he had angered the little beauty.

Taehyung was a bit confused at the time, but because it was a hectic period for him, he just called Jennie to ask about her current condition. From the tone of her voice on the phone, she didn't seem to be unhappy, and he clearly didn't provoke her.

Still, he knew that Jennie had come to the United States to take charge of Park Enterprise. At that time, Park Jimin often handed over some important tasks to Jennie, he wanted to train her properly.

Knowing that Jennie was busy with Park Enterprise, Taehyung didn't think too much of it.

Perhaps every man had an unruly age and Taehyung was a wholly unrestrained and free young master. In addition to his outstanding appearance, he had achieved great accomplishments in his career at such a young age. There were many girls who admired him.

Although he always thought of Rose in his heart, he basically never turned down the beauty that came knocking on his door. He could either acted on the spot or pretended to be real. Taehyung was notorious for being romantic at that time.

Jennie received formal training at Park Enterprise. She combined the diplomatic and business skills of both Taehyung and Jimin, as well as some of her experience in financial management to sum up a set of strategies that combined Park Enterprise's strength.

Jimin was very pleased with her performance and gradually handed over all the big and small projects to her.

He could tell that Jennie had learned a lot from Taehyung . It was just that Taehyung wasn't serious enough whenever he was with her. If they continued to get along like this, it might cause some trouble in the future.

Recently, Jennie quietly spent her time in Park Enterprise and no longer went to Taehyung's place. Jimin felt that it was a bit strange and asked some questions, but she just said that she had been in the United States for two years and had done a lot of things that needed to be learned.

It was unknown whether Jimin believed her explanation or not. He just looked at her at the time, as if he had seen through her, and said half-heartedly, "If you like someone but don't know how to talk or how to get along, then you might as well change it to another way to get along."

When Jennie heard his words, she first looked at him in surprise. However, Jimin just smiled softly, his eyes filled with the brotherly love and pampering.

Indeed, she liked Taehyung, but because he had told others that she was his sister and did not have any improper feelings towards her, nor did he have any other feelings towards her, Jennie decided to stay quiet. Although she liked him, she didn't know how to talk without getting embarrassed.

However, what Taehyung had said after drinking that day made Jennie aware. It might not be the best way to continue like this. Neither for him nor for her.

Initially, she only wanted to become an existence that he couldn't leave behind, waiting for everything to slowly bear fruit before she would say anything. However, Taehyung actually had someone he likes, which directly interfered with her original plans.
