A sincere apology to every one of my readers, since my grandmother passed away I had to postpone the uploading of chapters. Hope you all consider me this time.

Vote and comment to get Raghav's POV for the next chapter.

J A N A K I

I wanted answers because I needed to know what was the truth. Though, Raghav said that he had not raped her, god, just the thought of it gives me jitters and makes me nauseous. But I needed to know how he was framed because somewhere in my heart I believe him. Its sadistic and melancholic to say this, but almost having encountered with a rapist in my childhood, I know the feels and vibes, I basically know their kind, these types of monsters lurk in the shadows. They keep their true face hidden from the world and present the world a kind and soft version of themselves, the exact opposite image of who they truly are.

These kind of monsters show their powers once they have caught their prey, once they know that their prey cannot escape their filthy clutches, they come out from the dark then. They never and I mean never show who they truly are until the day of claiming their prey comes. And when it comes to Raghav, he too is a monster but not the kind which the world has painted him to be. He has never stopped or deterred from showing me and the world who he really is beneath the surface.

I know he plays games, deploys his pawns and goes by his carefully designed plot. He plays games both as a businessman and a shadow politician. And you might be wondering how do I know that all? Well, let's say I looked into how he got a few of his business deals done. And that's how I knew that he had bribed Rahul Khandelwal to join his political party.

Raghav is not the weak kind of monster who targets women and small children, he is not the monster from my childhood or the monster the world has "framed" him as, he is a monster who targets weakness. He doesn't plant or invent weaknesses like some monsters who, when they can't find a weakness in their prey they invent one by destroying their prey, either emotionally or mentally, but he is the kind who knows that there always is a weakness of both heroes and monsters and people like Raghav don't stop until they find out that weakness. Also, when after the court hearing Rahul slut-shamed me, Raghav let out his beast. He showed the world that - One, he is more than they will ever know. And two, he does not let the queen on his chessboard suffer.

If he was really a rapist, he would not have defended me back then and would have agreed with that bastard Rahul or he would not have waited to sleep with me after our marriage, instead, he would have had his way with me or he would not have waited for me to fight my demons and go to him when I am ready, he would have simply discarded me and settled for someone else. So, if he is innocent, he needs to be proven as 'not guilty' once and for all.

Hence, I rushed out of the library and went after him. He was climbing the stairs three at a time, I also followed him, I am sure he sensed me coming after him but he didn't pay any heed to me and I know that I found it unsettling.

I literally jogged after him to keep up with his pace. Once, he entered our room I too trailed after him, shamelessly. He headed towards his closet and taking out his black kurta and its white lower, he started unbuttoning his shirt. Good lord, now I have to bear the heaviness of the truth and his handsomeness altogether. My eyes trailed at his sculpted tan chest with my bite mark on his left chest right where his heart was and they descended towards his eight abs that I not too long ago licked and the oh so perfect V-line that I remember kissing and then his ... God, what had I come here for and what I was actually doing?
