Right now, I was in my room, rummaging through my closet. I took a shower a while ago and was wearing my bath robe, looking for something to wear. Finally, I found a blue knee-length floral dress and light blue summer shoes with bows.

I dressed into the outfit and then sat in front of my vanity, looking into the mirror. I straightened my hair and put on some eye makeup: light pink eye shadow, eyeliner, and mascara.

I was applying some lip gloss when I heard a small knock on my door. I got up and opened the door. I smiled as I saw Leo standing in front of me. He was dressed up in black jeans and some bandages covering his lower legs and his sandals. He had his straps across his chest where his katanas should've been on the back of his shell, but not this evening. Master Splinter had warned him about using his weapons on a date since there should not be any danger for the two of us. Even his brothers agreed.
Leo stared at me for a few minutes before he composed himself and handed me a small bouquet of cherry blossoms. "Faline," he whispered. "You look...beautiful."
I looked away shyly as my cheeks felt warm. "Thank you," I said softly as I took the bouquet into my hands. "You don't look too bad yourself."
