💜FALINE'S POV:
I held onto Leo as he carried me bridal-style, sliding through the tunnel with his brothers following. I couldn't help but feel scared thinking of the day I fell through the ice when me, Leo, his brothers, April, and Vern escaped from Eric Sacks Estate. Every time I saw or heard the sound of water, I got very scared.
Finally, we arrived at the lair and shot inside, knocking over Master Splinter, who was meditating. I got up, went over to Splinter, and helped him to his feet as the boys ran past us.
"Excuse me," Splinter said. "Alright. Slow down. Does somebody want to explain?"
Leo went up to Splinter and knelt to him. "Sensei. The Foot Clan are attempting to break Shredder out of custody."
"If Shredder is free, his reign of terror over the city will begin again?" Splinter asked in concern.
"Exactly," Leo nodded his head.
"And there's only one question," Splinter said. "Why are you wasting time talking to a grumpy old rat? Go get him!"
Leo grinned and got up, running off calling back. "Thanks, Dad!"
I followed after Leo along with Raph and Mikey. Donnie wanted to show us something he had created for the past two months covered up by a leather covering.
"Hey, guys, don't be too excited it's still a working process," Donnie said, pulling off the covering.
It was a dumpster truck with fire engines on each side and a manhole shooter on the front. On the side were the words "Tartaruga Brothers" painted in yellow paint. Raph, Mikey, and Donnie got in the truck, but I stopped Leo and gave him a hug.
"Go get him, Babe. But please be careful," I said.
"We always are," Leo reassured and kissed me on the lips.
I happily kissed him back. Then we broke the kiss, and he got into the passenger's seat of the truck. Donnie started it up and drove off, leaving the lair. I walked back to Splinter who set up two mats on the floor where he was meditating.
"Are you ready for another session, Faline?" he asked.
"Yes, Sensei," I answered.
I sat on one of the mats while Splinter sat on the other before me. He had been helping me control my temper by having meditation sessions every day. He's been like a father to me this past year.
Once Splinter put on medication music we faced each other. Splinter folded his legs and I did the same. "Like last time, Faline. Place your hands on your knees with palms facing upwards. And close your eyes, take deep breaths in and out," he instructed.
I did what he said, closing my eyes then taking deep breaths in and out.
"Concentrate on your breathing, Faline. Feel your fire surge through your palms," he continued.
I could feel my body turning into purple fire. I opened my eyes, seeing two balls of fire hover over the palms of my hands. Splinter opened his eyes to watch. The balls shaped into one howling wolf. As it disappeared, my body returned to normal while I was thinking what the heck it could mean?
"What did that wolf mean, Master Splinter?" I asked him.
Splinter stroked his beard, like he was thinking. Then he answered. "I am not sure. Maybe it is a sign that something is going to happen to you in the future."
This made me feel scared. What could a wolf have to do with my future?"
