🩶NORMAL POV:
Down in the lair, Leo was practising his moves with his katanas. While he was busy with that, Mikey was talking to Raph while he was lifting weights about what he saw with the purple ooze. When he watched Donnie pour a small amount of it onto his hand, which gave him five fingers.
"I didn't believe it, but then Donnie showed him it could really work. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen. It gave me hope. Maybe it could turn our sister and Rocco back to normal, and we don't have to be stuck down here forever, you know," Mikey explained, imagining about becoming human.
"So, Leo told Donnie to keep it a secret. Not only from us, but from Faline and her brother too?" Raph asked as his anger began to rise.
Mikey was starting to say "no" being nervous about what Raph might do.
"Who does he think he is?" Raph said as he got up from the bench and stormed angrily toward Leo.
Mikey followed him, trying to stop him. "No, wait. Hey, look, if you tell Leo that I told you that Donnie told him..." he tried to calm Raph down, but he just pushed him aside, causing Mikey to fall to the floor, and he got on his knees. "We'll never finish our hip-hop Christmas album!" he whispered, yelled to Raph.
Raph went over to Leo and said, making him stop for a brief second. "Pop quiz. What are the three most important traits of the ninja?"
Leo grinned and answered while continuing his moves. "Speed. Stealth. And..."
But before he could say the third trait, Raph jumped onto the platform and interrupted him. "Honour. Where's the honour in keeping secrets from your brothers? And the person you love AND her brother?" he asked Leo, giving him a stern look.
Leo just shrugged at the question and said. "I don't know what you're talking about," he continued his moves.
But Raph kept arguing with him. "So now you're adding lying to the list?" he growled as they walked in circles.
"If you're referring to what Donnie told me about the purple ooze, it's called "Compartmentalization of information"," Leo said as he put his katanas back into their holders, and continued his moves with just his hands.
"If there's even a chance that ooze can make us human..." Raph began, but Leo disaplined him.
"We're turtles, whether you like it or not," he reminded him of what they were.
"It's not about what I like. It's about what people up there are willing to accept," Raph argued.
"True acceptance only comes from within," Leo argued back.
"Don't give me that fortune cookie muck! You should consult with us before you decide to do something like that!" Raph yelled.
"I consulted Donnie. And we decided..." Leo started to say, but Raph shoved him, interrupting him.
"And what about Mikey, Faline, and Rocco? They don't get a vote?" Raph was very upset that Leo wanted to keep this a secret from his girlfriend and her brother.
"There's only one vote that counts in this family! Mine!" Leo growled as he glared at Raph.
Raph glared back at his older brother.
Donnie interrupted their fight. "Leo, an alarm just tripped at the Hayden Planetarium. We have to get uptown," he informed.
"Gear up, Donnie. You two stay here," Leo ordered toward Raph and Mikey as he shoved his little brother out of his way.
"You're benching me?!" Raph yelled.
"Call it what you want," Leo fired back.
"What'd I do?" Mikey asked.
