🩶NORMAL POV:
Shredder was transported to an unknown place. From behind him, someone was approaching.
"Where am I?" Shredder groaned.
A figure came up and lifted him roughly by the collar. It was a creature that resembled a brain with eyes, a mouth with razor-sharp teeth, and a bread made of tentacles as well as tentacles on his body. Connecting him a robot body.
"Does it matter?" the creature asked in a growling voice. "I know what your thing is right now of all the ways you'd like to kill me, but that would require you thinking me, and no one is smarter than the Krang!"
Large gloops of spit shot out of his mouth and soaked Shredder.
"Oh, I'm sorry," Krang said apologeticly. "Did I get a little tentacle mucus in your eyes, Shredder?" he added, lowing Shredder to the ground.
"So you know my name?" Shredder sneered. "Why am I here?"
"Because you and your buddy, Dr. Stockman found something of mine," Krang explained. "The teleportation device."
Shredder gave the creature a stern face. "The teleport was supposed to bring me out of prison."
"Oh, but it's capable of so much more," Krang answered with a chuckle. "That device is part of the machine of the arc capacitor."
He rose up to the robot head and tapped it with one of his tentacles. Instantly bright purple light shot out of the eyes showing a hologram. "Years ago, I launched the arc capacitor to Earth's dimension but upon entering your atmosphere it broke into three pieces. You and Stockman have one piece, another is in a museum in New York. The third is in the Brazilian rainforest. Collect the other two pieces. Dr. Stockman should be inventive enough to reassemble the arc capacitor."
"And then what?" Shredder demanded sternly.
"It will open a portal through which I could bring my war machine: The Techno Drone," Krang answered. "Together we can bring the people of your planet to their knees."
"I'm interested," Shredder said. "I will help you take down Planet Earth if you help me with my problem. Four brothers will try to stop me: turtles along with their little friend, a little girl with the ability to burst into flames."
Krang took out a strange object from his robot body. "Un aware of your past, take this," he handed the object to Shredder. "It will solve all your problems with these pests. I'll see you on the other side."
The teleportation device appeared once more and Shredder disappeared.
"Push me back in!" Krang ordered as the robot arm struggled to push him back inside. "Push me, you stupid robot!"
Finally the hands shoved him back inside and he grumbled. "You idiot!"
In the lair
The boys returned to the lair after parking the truck. They got out and talked about what had just happened.
"What was that thing?" Mikey wondered. "Where did it come from?"
"I have no idea," Raph said.
"It seemed to be something Baxter used to get Shredder out of prison," Donnie said. "Some kind of transporting invention of some sort."
Leo walked away and stood against the wall while his brothers continued talking. "I'm such a failure," he said to himself. "I failed stopping Shredder escape, and now I failed to keep Faline safe."
Just then April arrived. "Guys," she called, jogging over to them.
"April," the boys greeted her in unison.
"Did you guys stop Shredder from escaping?" she asked.
"...no," Donnie replied. "We tried to but he got away. He disappeared into what looked like an inner dimensional portal. Now Shredder is out there somewhere, but we don't know where he is."
"How could've that had happened?" she wondered.
"Beats me," Mikey said.
Suddenly a loud explosion came from the dojo.
"You think Faline's losing her cool?" Raph asked.
"We should probably go see her," Donnie said.
💜FALINE'S POV:
I blew up. AGAIN. Why can't I just let my fear go?"
A hand laid on my shoulder. "Babe?" It was Leo.
I calmed down and hugged him tightly. "Oh Leo, thank goodness. I was so scared for you."
He gently pet my head. "It's okay...it's okay."
Then I saw April and immediately ran over to her. "Oh April!" I wrapped her in a hug.
She returned the hug. "Hey, Faline."
"She was worrying for your safety back at the stadium," Donnie explained.
"Hey, Faline, it's alright," she comforted me, brushing my hair with her hand.
We broke the hug and I turned to the boys. "So what's happened?"
