💙LEO'S POV:

I was practising my moves while swinging my katanas in both hands. Donnie was in his lab. Raph was lifting weights while listening to some metal on his iPod.

I jumped, front flipped, and landed on the ground, holding both swords. Sweat started dripping from my head, and I panted for breath. It's very tiring working out, but it's my thing.

Looking at my reflection in the camera screens on the wall, I was beginning to wonder why Faline always gazed at me google eyed whenever I practised. I looked amazing. Like someone who worked out eight hours a day.

Having her in my life was the best thing I could ever dream of. She was so precious. Every time I held her in my arms, I made sure to be careful, or she might smash like a China doll.

"Hey, bro."

I jumped up, startled placing my hand over my heart and dropping my swords, turning around to see Mikey standing on the floor below the platform I was on.

"Mikey, don't scare me like that. You almost gave me a heart attack," I scolded him.

"I'm sorry, Leo, but it's Faline. She's in a state of crying in her room," Mikey explained.

My stern face was replaced by worry and concern. "What do you mean she's in a state of crying?" I asked him.

"I was going to go have a nice hot shower when I heard crying from Faline's room, and I peaked in to see bawling on her bed," he explained.

I just got off the platform and made my way to Faline's room. I entered to find her curled up on her bed and crying into her knees.

"Babe?" I whispered softly, putting one hand on her back. "Are you okay."

"No, Leo...I'm not okay," she murmured, her voice horse from crying.

I knelt down on the floor beside her bed. "What's wrong?"

She tightened her grip around her knees. "I just can't believe it's already been three whole years since they've been gone."

"Who?" I asked her in confusion.

"My parents," she answered softly, wiping her eyes with her hand.

I felt my heart ache, feeling sorry for her. "Oh...I see," I muttered, folding my arms on the ledge of the mattress and setting my chin on my arms.

"I really miss them very much. Every year, my heart hurts," she said and cried.

"Hey, hey, hey," I whispered softly as i got up from the floor, picked her up from the bed and sat down cross-legged on the soft mattress with my shell against the headboard, setting her gently between my legs. "It's okay..."

She sniffed, not facing me. "I can't help it...every year I cry on this day...another year I'm still going through this grieving pain."

She sniffled as she stared at her bracelet on her right wrist. I knew how special it was to her. It was the last thing her mother gave to her before she died.

"The day they left for their work trip, Mum gave my bracelet to me, saying it would mine one day," she said softly and sadly. "I never would've thought that would be the day it became mine."

"Hey, look at me," I used my hand on her cheek to make her look up at me. "I know you loved them very much, and you miss them, but they're right here."

I gently touched my hand to her heart, which she looked at.

"Once you love someone, they stay in your heart forever. As long as you remember them, they'll never leave you."

She gave a faint sigh and gazed up at me with that beautiful smile that I loved to see.

"What would I do without you?"

I smiled and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "You'll always have me."

She looked at me lustfully and moved closer to my face. I did the same, and our lips met. She wrapped her arms around my neck, and I wrapped mine around her waist.

Finally, we needed air, so we pulled away and looked into each other's eyes.

She caressed my cheek with her hand. "I'm really glad I met you."

I pet her head gently. "So am I. You're the best thing that ever appeared in my life."

Leo and Faline didn't know Splinter was listening to them and bowed his head smiling.

"Well done, my son," he whispered and returned to his room to meditate.
