It's been a whole month since Krang was defeated. A lot has changed. Vern and Alessandra are engaged, which is a sweet and heart-warming thing. Rocco and Daisy have been really good friends, and they've hung out a lot. They're so cute together, and Daisy's parents love Rocco. Casey and April had their official date at a fancy Chinese restaurant. Casey's an awesome boy, and we all like him.
If you're asking about me and Leo, ever since the Krang invasion, we've been closer than ever. Plus, Leo's different. He doesn't feel anxious or stressed anymore. He's let all the weight lift off his chest. I'm happy he's finally put his leadership aside to be who he is. The Leo I love.
Rocco has become a new member of our team since he's officially moved into the lair. Mikey's offered to share his room with Rocco, and the two are happy to have each other as roommates.
Splinter offered to train Rocco to be a ninja, which he happily accepted. For the past few weeks, he just learned hand to hand combat just I did when I was being trained for the first time before I was given a weapon.
Today, Rocco was ready to have his own weapon to fight with. We all stood before the weapon wall as Master Splinter faced Rocco. I stood by Leo's side along with his brothers as we watched.
"Rocco, I have noticed how excellent you've fought in your training. So, I am giving you your weapon of choice," Splinter explained.
Rocco's face lit up with joy. "Really?"
"Yes. You've been doing a marvellous job. Pick your weapon," Sensei replied.
Rocco looked them over until he came across this interesting weapon. It was a Sai like what Raph used, but it was the size of a sword.

He liked it. He took it off the wall and held it before Splinter.
"Excellent choice," he said.
"You like my Sais, don't you, Wolf Boy?" Raph teased him with a playful smirk.
"You could say so," Rocco answered.
I gently nudged Mikey's arm and whispered in his ear about the special surprise we'd planned for Rocco.
"Oh yeah," Mikey said. "Hey, Rocco. We Got'cha something."
He reached behind his back and showed a blue leather jumpsuit with a matching pair of blue leather boots and a blue eye mask.
