Note: Why Sailub looked sad/different during LoveFest (fictional only, it's not true) I'm a delulu I'm sorry, deal with it~

As Pon watched the scenes become more dramatic, he couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. He knew how much Sailub had been looking forward to this weekend, and here he was, just watching anime and leaving his boyfriend alone. Well not all alone, he was with their friends too.

Pon sat in his dimly lit room, the glow of his computer screen casting a soft illumination across his features. His eyes were fixed on the vibrant colors dancing before him, each frame of the anime he was engrossed in drawing him deeper into its fantastical world. The day had slipped away unnoticed, lost in the captivating narratives and mesmerizing animation.

Days before this, Pon had made a promise to Sailub to attend the LoveFest. A promise that now weighed heavily on his conscience as he found himself ensnared in the allure of the anime series he was watching.

LoveFest, a weekend music festival that Sailub had eagerly anticipated for months, had been the focal point of their plans but the demands of Pon's work had hijacked those intentions, leaving Sailub to attend the festival without him. At least he was still attending with the company of their friends.

Pon recalled the enthusiasm that had filled Sailub, the contagious excitement that had enriched their conversations leading up to LoveFest. The promise Pon eagerly made was to share in that excitement and immerse themselves in the festival vibes. Yet, here he was, a spectator to fictional dramas rather than a participant in real-life experiences. As the anime characters grappled with their own conflicts and resolutions, Pon couldn't help but draw parallels to his own situation. The realization of his absence from Sailub's side, the missed opportunity to create cherished memories together, weighed heavily on him.

As the music throbbed through the air, a symphony of beats and melodies seemed to electrify the very atmosphere, Sailub stood amidst the pulsating energy of LoveFest. The vibrant hues of the festival lights cast multi-colored patterns across the sea of partygoers. Yet, despite the joyous ambiance surrounding him, Sailub found himself adrift in a sea of conflicting emotions.

He tried to lose himself in the rhythm, to surrender to the lively crowd in front of him but with each sway of his body and each beat of the music, there lingered a hollow ache—a void that only Pon's presence could fill. It was a bittersweet symphony, the joy of the festival tempered by the absence of the one person who had promised to share in its magic.

With a determined effort, Sailub pushed aside the gnawing sense of disappointment that threatened to consume him. He raised his cup in a toast to the night, seeking solace in the warmth of the alcohol coursing through his veins. Yet, with each sip, he found only temporary ease, the numbness it offered unable to drown out the echoes of longing that resonated within him.

As the night went on, Sailub found himself getting more and more drunk. He tried so hard not to stumble through the crowds, trying to hold on to the last bits of his soberness, if not he'd get in trouble with his company. There was only one thing he knew he needed to do the most, to talk to Pon, to hear his voice and see his face. He misses the little one so much.

As soon as they got back to their Airbnb he locked himself into the room to call his boyfriend. He fumbled with his phone, calling Pon on Line and waiting for him to answer.

Pon was looking through the #LoveFestThailand2024 tag, checking the happenings, and of course, he was looking for videos and pictures of his boyfriend, he wanted to check what he was doing when he saw Sailub calling. He almost immediately picked up but he turned on his lights first and fixed himself. When he finally picked up he could tell something was wrong.
