It happened so fast. There was an incoming car that I overlooked and I was pushed out of the way when Jeff...Oh God Jeff, where was he?

I turned my back to look for him.

My eyes widened in horror as I saw the lifeless body lying on the ground. In a panic, I immediately ran towards him and examined his body, there was blood on his head. I looked around and shouted for help as people gathered around us. "Jeff, wake up...Ai'nuu! Wake up!" I tried to shake him and pat his face gently. "Please! Somebody! Call an ambulance!" I looked around and people gasped as they saw Jeff and the blood "Jeff, wake up! Come on! JEFF! WAKE UP!" I couldn't contain my feelings anymore as I shouted.

I felt like I couldn't breathe as I tried to pat his cheeks again and again, hoping he was going to wake up but he didn't. My tears welled up as I didn't know what to do. I felt like everything wasn't real, I wish it weren't but here I am. "Khun, the ambulance is coming." Someone says while I still focus on Jeff, who seems to bleed out continuously.

"Jeff! Jeff! Come on! Wake up!" My tears fell as I shook him but there was no point he didn't move at all, was he dead? God, please. Don't take him away from please. I hugged his body as I cried. "Please, please don't leave me, Jeff." Fuck, if I just paid attention this wouldn't have happened. "Jeff, please..." I hugged his body tightly, not caring about how the blood and tears stained my jacket.

Why did he do it? Why did he push me out of the way? Why did he sacrifice himself? Wait...was that why he looked worried as he looked around? How did he know? Did he have a vision about it?

"Jeff, come on! Wake up!" Where's that damn ambulance? "Jeff stay with me, come on. Please, don't leave me." My tears, uncontrollably poured as I hugged him. I shouted as I cried until the paramedics came, they detached me from Jeff as they examined him. I felt the voices muffled as I stared at how they checked on Jeff's body. I  could hear some words like "he'll be dead," and "hospital, asap" in between the muffled voices which eventually weakened my knees, is he dead? Is Jeff dead?

He was transferred to a stretcher before they went into the ambulance. I followed but was immediately stopped by a paramedic. "You can't come with us, sir." He says still stopping me. "Please, please I have to come. He's my boyfriend." I defended but he still kept insisting. "I'm sorry but you can't." He warns as he pushes me away gently. I didn't try to argue further, or Jeff might die. "Please, sir. Please help him. He's pregnant. I don't want to lose him and our child." He nods as he pats me and then he goes into the ambulance and off they go.

I hope he'll be okay, if not what would I do?

When I got to the hospital the nurse mentioned that the doctors were still operating on Jeff. They told me he had rib fractures and trauma on the head that's why he was bleeding from both inside and outside and they are trying to save him and the child inside him. 

The rest of the team arrived after hearing the news, I called Charlie because he had the right to know about his brother. He must've told the others since they were in the garage. It was a good thing because I didn't think I could do this alone, I was scared of course. I was scared of what would happen to Jeff now, he was in a critical state and I couldn't be there for him. This is all my fault. This would've never happened if I hadn't been stubborn to go outside. If only I was observant enough, I would've seen the car coming and dodged it. If only I didn't let go of his hand...

I buried my face in my hands as my thoughts and regrets got more painful I thought of it and my head felt like they were being squeezed. "Lung, don't beat yourself up to it. Jeff would be okay. He's strong." North comes up to me patting me on the shoulder several times "He would survive this don't worry." Sonic followed North, standing on the other side of me while patting my back. I hope he does, and our baby too.
