Kabanata 26
Back again
Time is passing; our defense and intramurals are approaching. Mommy didn't go home regularly anymore. So instead of going home every day, she chooses to rent a place near her workplace, Para Makatipid. Sadness is overwhelming. I don't know why, but I feel so lonely. Idagdag mo pa si Obed. He is nowhere to be found right now. May update naman siya sa story niya, but still he didn't talk to me. I cried every night thinking about what happened to everyone.
“20 minutes break muna boys!” Their coach shouted.
Ysa, beside me, gazes at the court. Amare is sweating, but he is still so damn attractive as he walks towards me. His eyes settle only on me. His eyes shine. His muscles are growing. Maangas na siyang titignan ngayon kapag naka jersey. He was kind of soft before, but as time passed, nagma-mature talaga siya ng paunti-unti.
“I have a lot of points, Adri. That means I expect a lot of hugs from you.” He said as he sat down beside me.
Ysa is standing while holding a towel, and Gab is sitting beside Ysa while drinking his water, but his eyes are on us.
I scoffed.
He chuckled. Binuksan niya ang bottle water at uminom. The way he drinks it, I find it very sexy! I looked away and tried to distract myself.
When he's done drinking, doon pa lang ako napatingin ulit. He is wiping his sweat now.
When his eyes looked down on my chest part, doon lang siya tumango at nag-iwas siya ng tingin. I am only wearing jeans and a red sleeveless shirt to match their jersey. Nakita kong umigting ang kaniyang panga. Tinungga ang bottled water.
“I have a jacket on my duffel bag. No need to go home, Adri.”
Oh! That's good, nakakatamad din umuwi.
“Okay…”
“I like it when we spend our time with Jesus. Ito ang lagi kong dinadasal.” He bit his lips and smirked. “At ngayong nandito na sa harapan ko. What a miracle!”
