☆ Where do we go from here? ☆
✿✧ Chapter twenty-three ✧✿
Weeks passed before we came to our conclusion. We decided it was a better decision to move to Alaska with their cousins. The Denali's had already been harboring some of the other Cullens and said they'd be happy to watch over us.
Alice said she would keep in touch with Bella via emails. If she needed help or change her mind about us staying in Forks, she could reach out.
We waited a day, staying at the empty Cullen house. When Bella's mind hadn't changed, Rosalie took me to pack My bags. My bags were packed in seconds. It was a feature I wished I had sooner.
I said my last goodbyes to Bella in a letter. I left it on her window seal just before we left. It had my new address and an email just in case.
...
Alaska was as cold as I expected. Luckily it wasn't as bad given that the winter months were coming to their end. Other than weather, it was beautiful there.
The Denali's, a family of five vampires, were actually really interesting. They all gave us a warm welcome, for the most part. Kate did decide it would be fun to shock me when I shook her hand. To her surprise, and everyone else's, I shocked her back. I could definitely see more pranks coming in the future.
Alice, Rosalie, and I shared a big room on the second floor of their house. It was definitely going to be defiled as one of Alice's decorating attempts, but for now it was perfect.
Carlisle moved into a house nearby and started a new job at the hospital. He used his privileges to help wing me off of human blood. All I can say is it wasn't easy. I got so agitated I ended up throwing Carlisle across the room one day.
Months had passed and Bella still hasn't contacted us. I started to accept that she never would. Maybe it was for the best. I was happy here, both of my mates with me, living freely as vampires. I didn't want that to change.
...
Three years later I was dragged off to a flowery garden. Rosalie and Alice suddenly dropped to one knee. In their hands was a beautiful engagement ring.
Of course I said yes!
I couldn't dream of a better life. This was perfect.
...Back in Forks
Bella sat on the end of her bed, Jacob's hand around her waist. Bella had asked him out after her sister had left. Now they were great together.
Charlie was happy that Bella had chosen him. He'd always seen their compatibility and how caring Jacob was. The only thing he wasn't happy about was Bella getting pregnant at eighteen.
It was only four months after Onyx had left that she found out. Jacob was supportive and maybe even thrilled. Bella already knew he'd make a great dad.
So in Bella's lap sat their one year old daughter, Luna. She had Jacob's complexion and some of his personality too. She was fussy most of the time, but Jacob was always there to help when Bella got overwhelmed.
They lived in a small two bedroom house now. They had moved out around the later months of Bella's pregnancy. Charlie was sad to see her go and also glad that he wouldn't have to hear a baby crying all the time.
They were happy and things were great. Bella didn't even think of her sister anymore. But things could always change. Danger always looms in the lives of vampires and werewolves.
A/n- I am leaving it here bc I don't know if I want to write a second book or not. That one will have to be more original so I can't rely on the movies to fill gaps for me. I'll update again if I ever do decide to write another book, but for now, this is where it ends.
Thank you for reading and supporting me even when I was struggling. I couldn't have done it without the encouragement from certain readers. <3
Update- I'm gonna start planning another book so I made some small changes to this chapter. I wanted to have a more in depth wedding for them so I'm going to write it in the new one.
