"I have an idea!" Gabriela said with a lot of enthusiasm.
"What are you thinking about, my love?" Gavi asked with a bit of concern.
"We should play truth or dare, but every time you want to avoid any of these you have to take a shot." she continued while waiting for our approval.
"Thank God you added the last part, I'm in." Evelyn said.
"Me too, I can't wait to stay sober and make fun of you all." Sofia said.
"I mean, do I have a choice? I'm in." I said while looking at everybody.
"I'm starting since I came up with the idea. Let's choose my first victim." Gabriela said as we sat together in one place, Pedri staying next to me. "Hmmm, Evelyn, since you seem too courageous. Truth or dare?" she continued.
"I'm glad I'm the first one. Dare, for sure." Evelyn stated really brave and we just stared at them for a moment.
"I dare you to call a guy and tell him that you want to start things over." Gabriela told her.
"Okay, I will call my ex if we really want to have some fun." Evelyn said and we would be amazed by her idea. They ended up things in a funny way, she just left him one day and never came back, saying she got fed up with him, but he didn't believe her. "Only if he would pick up the phone. He's shitting his pants right now, I'm sure of it." she continued and everyone was laughing.
"Let's say the dare is completed, she went with it but that little guy is just too scared. Now you choose the victim." Gabriela said.
"What an honor. Let's see." Evelyn said while analyzing us, to see which one was more scared and she saw me with a death stare. Fuck. "Ariana, truth or dare?" she continued. Of course.
"Truth, I'm scared of your ideas." I stated as I straightened my posture, getting ready to hear the worst question of all time.
"Is it true that..." she paused to create more tension between us, "you have a crush on someone from this room?" and I gagged. She was paying attention to Pedri too, who was peeking at me, trying to get unnoticed, the rest were just curious about my response, as most of them already knew.
"I'll take a shot." I said with a soft voice, avoiding eye contact with anyone else.
"Someone has some secrets to keep..." Gabriela stated, knowing exactly what she was doing and just gave her an ironic smile. "Evelyn, another victim?" she continued, changing the subject.
"Fer! Truth or dare?" Evelyn asked with a big smile.
"Dare, I'm not scared of anything." he said while having no idea about Evelyn's abilities of torture.
"I dare you to describe, in a very poetical way, the girl you're interested in." Evelyn told him gesturing the "mic drop" movement.
"You're kidding." he said with his eyes wide open.
"Not at all. You choose, this, or the Ariana way, take a shot." she said and I just flipped her.
"She has the eyes of the clear sky in the morning, a smile that makes the sun jealous, the voice of an angel, long hair like a princess..." he said while looking at Sofia, who wasn't losing him from her eyes. Everyone kind of figured out who he was describing and we were looking surprised at them. "I don't know, is that enough?" he said when he realized what was the atmosphere around him, blushing.
"Enough. Now, you're choosing your victim." Evelyn said he looked relieved.
"Pedri. Truth or dare?" he said with no hesitation.
