The day has come and we arrived at our rented apartment. The flight was quite good, but I'm still a bit tired from it. I called my parents to let them know that we arrived and I heard from the other room the girls talking about what we should be doing later.

"Don't you think we should be unpacking first? Or taking a shower? Or eat? Or sleep?" I told them a bit taken by surprise by their energy.

"Grandma, you're not sleeping tonight. Are you crazy? I'll get you some coffee, get in the shower and then get ready. We have dinner out tonight." Evelyn said back.

"I'll look for a dress for you so you don't have to make more effort!" Sofia offered.

"Fuck off. You always get your way." I said while heading to the bathroom.

And they were right. When I got out of the shower, I found a red dress on my bed and a coffee on the nightstand. I wasn't in the mood for something extra today, so I did my usual eyeliner and I put on a nude lipstick. After I straightened my hair, I got my perfume and I was looking for some shoes.

Evelyn and Sofia were also done, so we ordered a taxi to take us downtown. The sunset looked amazing through the palm trees and soon the city lights were ready to shine everywhere.

There was something in the air since we arrived here, everyone seemed connected to this place and we were about to find out why. It looks like there you make one of a kind stories.

After a few minutes of walking down the streets, we found a place where we could have our dinner. As we were waiting for our order, we began making plans for tomorrow.

"We have to go to the beach tomorrow, then we will figure it out next. I don't care." I said while taking a sip out of my mojito.

"Of course, but besides that, what else we should do?" Sofia asked.

"For sure they have some nice clubs there, we can go there. I'm really curious about how they have fun here. They might never get bored here from what I'm seeing." Evelyn said back while looking on her phone for some clubs, grabbing her margarita.

"We will find out soon about that!" was my response smiling at them. "This place is very nice." I said while looking around, observing everything I could. Suddenly, some big brown eyes got into my vision. I couldn't break the eye contact once I saw them. I might sound silly, but I think those were the most beautiful eyes I ever saw. People were moving around, so I couldn't see the whole face of this guy that was looking at me.

"What happened? What are you looking at?" Evelyn asked me as she saw that I wasn't that much there anymore, also looking around trying to see what got my attention.

"Nothing," I nodded, "just looking around.", trying to brush it off.

"If you say so..." Sofia got back at me trying to tease me. I just gave them a stare while they were laughing at me.

After we left, we decided to take a walk around the streets until we got back home. At some point, it got a bit crowded, but we managed to stick together. We found a spot where Evelyn and I could have a cigarette.

"You really got me out of the house today. And I'm still whole. Thank you, though. I really enjoyed tonight. Such a beautiful city." I told them while I was lighting my cigarette.

"No need to thank us, we wouldn't let you spend your first day here in bed." Sofia said.

"Right. But now we really need some sleep." Evelyn suggested.

"Ohh, really? You say so?" I told her back and she just smiled ironically at me.

"Let's get a taxi, enough for today."

All the way back home I was trying to remember who was looking at me. Who could be this guy? Why does this stranger that I will never see again have to have these beautiful brown eyes? Nevermind, why do I even bother? I will never cross paths with him again and tomorrow I won't even remember this.

"Good night, girls. See you."

"Good night to you too!"

"Sleep well!"

Fuck. Who the fuck are you?
