Everyone was wasted, lying on the floor some of them, well, just Dani. He had something written on his face, "DUMB BOSS SINCE 2002". We were trying to control our laughs at the state we found them.
Sofia and Evelyn were fine, they fell asleep on the couch, next to each other, while Gabriela, Olivia and Anto were sleeping on the other side of the couch. How were they able to extend it anyway? But the better question was for how long did Pedri and I were absent from the party? Theo was asleep on a chair, with his face on the table. Comfortable, I guess. Fer was the only one missing.
"I'm going to look for Fer and I'll be back." Pedri said coming close to me and whispering. Fuck.
"Take your time, don't worry." I told him back.
He was heading upstairs, I think to Fer's room. I just sat against the back of the couch, to not wake up any of the Sleeping Beauties, checking my phone, and then I heard Pedri coming down. I didn't wait for him long.
"He is in his room, sleeping. The smartest guy in the room as always." Pedri told me trying to hold his laugher. "I have to take him a picture, I can't miss this opportunity." he continued while going next to Dani and took a picture of him wasted. "I'm sorry that we can't sit here anymore, but it's getting late anyway so I'll show you the guest room." he whispered as he made me a sign to follow him.
"Sure it's okay to stay the night here? I can go to my place, it wouldn't be a problem." I told him as I followed him.
"Are you crazy? You're not living at this time." Pedri told me as he opened the door to my room for tonight. It was a spacious, almost full white room, with a view across the beach.
"Thank you so much for letting me stay here." I told him and he just gave me a smile back.
"This was my old room. I got another one, even bigger." he said jokingly so I wouldn't feel bad anymore. "I'll go and look for something you can change into. I must have a shirt left somewhere. I'll be back." he continued as I nodded and analysed the room.
After a few minutes, as I was just staring at the view, he knocked on the door and I opened it.
"Thank you so much. I'm sorry- I had no idea that we would crash here tonight." I told him avoiding eye contact this time, as I looked at the clothes he bought me.
"Hey, don't worry about it. If you need anything else just text me, okay? I'm staying in the room next to you." he said as he wanted to reassure me.
"Thank you, Pedri." I told him with a shy smile. He smiled back at me and he was heading to the door and I followed him a few steps.
"Thank you too, for tonight." he said while he winked at me, "Good night."
"Good night to you too." I told him as I smiled at him, closing the door behind him.
He gave me a small shirt from his', it was a bit oversized on me, and a pair of shorts with the Barça badge on them. I think it was an old training suit of his from the days we just came at the club.
I got ready for the bed with what I had to use, and I couldn't really fall asleep. My mind was all over the place with what happened today. I couldn't believe it, at all. Me, staying for the night in his old room, just had a talk almost all night with him, those little gestures, the other night. Damn.
I just stared at the pictures he took of us, he really is cute. I can't wait to talk to Sofia and Evelyn tomorrow when we get back home. Oh, the teasing they will give me. What can I say, I really thank them for the stupid ideas they had.
All I have in mind is his eyes, his soft voice, completing the view with his smells all over me. Am I falling for someone who I won't be seeing after a few days? That most definitely will forget about me as fast as he met me? All that I can do is to have fun at least, without getting attached to anything, especially to him. Let's be real now, I have to control it.
