"Babe, it's getting late." Pedri said from the kitchen, as I was still working on some designs.

"I'm not done yet, babe." I told him, as he came over, pressing his hands softly over my shoulder, noticing how tense I was.

"I'm sure Evelyn wouldn't mind if you bring her only half of these to work from." he whispered, trying to make me follow him to the bedroom.

"It would have been easier if they were for her." I told him, resting my head softly on his hand.

"Then for who are those?" he asked, curiously.

"For Erik." I told him quickly, focusing on the outfit I was drawing.

"And who is Erik?" Pedri said, removing his hands from me, and changing his voice to a more serious one.

"The guy who owns Riviera, I told you about him." I said, still focusing on my project.

"I don't know any Erik from any Riviera." Pedri insisted, crossing his arms as I turned around to him.

"Pedri..." I said, and I saw him with the same pose, still clueless.

"Yes?" he continued, raising an eyebrow.

"I've known him for a while already, he is friends with Evelyn and once he noticed the other sketches I had in my portfolio. He was crazy to work with me for a future line and now we are starting the project." I tried to explain, but Pedri was still unimpressed with the background, sitting on the edge of the couch.

"So you're telling me that Evelyn let you go from your atelier to go and work with him?" Pedri said, rolling his eyes as he made a whole different version about it.

"No, I work with both of them, but Evelyn now has too many orders and she gave me a break." I insisted, leaving the stuff I had on my lap aside on the couch, facing him.

"And I just found out about this now?" he questioned, scoffing.

"What's the big deal?" I said, mirroring his actions.

"What's the big deal? Really?" he repeated, like I was telling him a joke.

"Are you jealous?" I said, and I saw Pedri's face completely blushing before he would say anything else.

"I'm not, I just don't know the guy you're apparently working with for a while." Pedri mumbled, gesticulating.

"Then you will meet him." I suggested, being the only thing that came to my mind for fixing this.

"Great, I really wanted to make a new friend." Pedri rushed to say, ironically, as he was walking around the room.

"I might aswell make friends with the girls that are all over you when you're doing these many new campaigns." I snapped back, getting up from the couch, and walking towards him.

"Now who's jealous?" he said with no hesitation, facing me.

"I'm not jealous at all, love. I need a reason for that, and there's none." I whispered as I got closer to him, placing my hands over his chest, as our eyes met in tension.

"What does that mean?" he asked, confused, as he had his hands over my waist.

"You don't trust me, or what? Why are you acting like this?" I continued, keeping the same tone in my voice.

"You switched it and reversed it just like you wanted to. It's not that I don't trust you, I don't know him." he said, keeping me closer to him, continuing to speak in a whisper "And I don't like to share what's mine.", a moment in which I could feel my whole body melting.

"And what do you want me to do?" I said, tilting my head but still keeping the eye contact with him.

"Just be careful with him." Pedri said, with a calmer tone in his voice, before leaving a kiss on my forehead.

"Let's go for lunch together and you will see that there's nothing to be worried about." I insisted, as I wanted him to convince himself about this.

"Alright." Pedri said, giving me no hard time to get him agree with me,

"That's it?" I asked, suprised, as I almost took a step back to get to see his face expression; if he was joking or not.

"What?" Pedri then continued, just as surprised as I was.

"Aren't you protesting or something?" I said, giving him a look.

"Look, babe. I want to make sure he can be safe to be around him." Pedri explained, giving me a hug.

"I get you, baby. I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier about this." I continued, resting my head on his chest as my hands were around his back.

"It's okay, we both were busy and it just slipped away." he said, ending the conversation about this here.

-------------------

Erik:
Good morning, Ariana
Can we move our meeting to lunch?
Something came up at the atelier and I can't meet you there in the morning, I'm sorry for the inconvenience

Ariana:
Good morning to you too, Erik!
I hope everything's fine or at least you can handle it easily.
As far as it concerns me, there's no problem with that, we can meet anytime

Erik:
Thank you for your understanding
I'll text you the location later

Ariana:
Alright, take care

"Did you curse Erik last night or something?" I asked Pedri laughing, as he was looking for a shirt.

"I might have, who knows?" Pedri said, unbothered to admit the truth.

"We will meet with him straight for lunch, he couldn't meet me at his atelier this morning." I told him and I saw him coming out of the dressing, still without any shirt.

"So you're telling me that we have a free morning just for us?" Pedri said, raising his eyebrows, as I already knew where this would lead.

"Pretty much." I told him, laughing at him, who was running back into bed next to me, taking advantage of every second to kiss me, and without noticing I found myself on top of him, having his hands placed on my waist, while tracing lines over my back at times. I couldn't help but save some seconds to stare into his eyes, which still made me feel weak just like on the first day. Leaving his soft lips yearning for a kiss while moving gently to his neck, he rolled over me, taking full control.

"Only if we got every morning like this." Pedri whispered, tracing his fingertips over my skin under the nightgown I was still wearing.

"Looks like we are lucky today." I said, leaning for a kiss, as I let him do whatever he had in mind for us.
