"Thank you for tonight, Pedri." I said as I was resting my head on the seat, looking at him, as we got on our way where he had to meet his manager.
"Maybe we can save the rest of it." he said with a mystery in his voice, as he winked at me.
"You say so?" I said as I was tracing my fingertips over his arm.
"Oh, I'm convinced." Pedri said as he kept his eyes on the road, looking around to find the place.
He eventually found a spot where he could leave his car and made a call to make sure he could go inside.
"I'll wait for you there." I said as I unlocked my phone.
"Why? Come with me, Jesus. I won't leave you alone." he said as he rushed to open the door for me.
"Are you sure? Maybe he wants to talk with you only." I insisted but he crossed his arms as he was standing in front of me.
"If that's the case, he has an office." he said and I got out of the car, as he asked.
He grabbed my hand as we were walking towards this house, and I noticed some familiar cars but I didn't bother with this, after all, they were common everywhere. Pedri was leading my way with his hand softly placed on my waist, and as he opened the door, I saw many faces standing in front of the door screaming at the same time "Surprise!", while I was completely confused and shocked.
"Happy birthday, love!" Pedri whispered into my ear as he was standing behind me, while I was looking at everyone, who was ready to hug me.
"I have no words. You guys are incredible." I said, trying to calm down from shaking completely from this surprise. "This is like the best birthday ever!" I continued as I hugged everyone.
The house looked amazing, soft lights sparkling through the rooms filled with black and white balloons, and a Swedish buffet could be seen in the kitchen. I also noticed a Vogue inspired photo booth with many specific props.
"It's nice to meet you, Ariana! Happy birthday!" Balde said as he gave me a quick hug.
"You have no idea how happy I am to meet you too!" I said as I was smiling at Pedri's friends.
"I can see why he is so mad over you." Fermin said, but got interrupted by Gavi shortly after.
"Are you hitting on my sister? Leave her alone. She has a boyfriend, in case you forgot." Gavi said as he placed a hand around my neck, raising an eyebrow at him, while Pedri enjoyed the show.
"Gavi, are you drunk?" I asked him, as I noticed that at some point that he was more leaning on me than trying to protect me from no danger after all.
"No, why would ask that?" Gavi said as he was looking at me like I said something wrong.
"Just asking." I told him as I tried to find Gabriela around the room.
"Hey, Gavi. I wanted to ask you something." Pedri intervened, taking Gavi a few steps away.
"I didn't know you were close." Ansu said as he kept looking at them, laughing at Pedri's skills of calming Gavi down.
"We've been friends since this summer, I met both Pedri and Gavi through Gabriela." I explained as I saw Pedri already running out of patience.
"Oh, so it's you who Gabriela kept talking about." Ferran said.
"It could be me or Evelyn." I said laughing, while Ferran was a bit confused.
"Evelyn?" he asked me, trying to find her in the room.
