THE FOUR GRYFFINDORS had to wait till dark to escape the tower. Mia waited until she heard Alicia's snores to leave her dorm, spotting Hermione out in the hallway.
Hermione grabbed Mia, pulling her close "Are you sure we should be doing this?" Mia tried to give her comfort as she smoothed Hermione's hair down. "Everything is going to okay. All we are doing is stopping Voldemort from gaining the power to live forever."
Hermione's glared told Mia that her comment wasn't appreciated, but the two moved on towards the stairs to see Harry and Ron waiting.
The four made their way down to the common room, only to pause at the sight of a toad. "Trevor, shh, go!" Ron hissed, "You shouldn't be here."
"Neither should you."
Poking their head out from behind the chair was Neville, who stared at them in disbelief. "You're sneaking out again, aren't you?"
"Neville, listen." Harry sighed, they really didn't have time for this "We were-"
"No! I won't let you." Neville said, shaking his head "You'll get Gryffindor into trouble again. I-I'll fight you."
Mia frowned, sighing before whispering to Hermione "Can't you do something?" She adored Neville, really, but now was not the time. "Neville, I'm really, really sorry about this." Hermione told the boy.
"Petrificus Totalus!"
Neville's arms snapped to his sides, his legs sprang together. His whole body rigid, he swayed where he stood and then fell flat on his face, stiff as a board. Mia ran over to the boy, turning his body over.
"Hermione!" Mia exclaimed.
"I'm sorry, it's the only spell I could think of." Hermione reasoned, making Harry ask "What've you done to him?"
"It's the full Body-Bind," Mia answered, knowing the spell thanks to the long hours of studying with her friend. "Come on, we need to hurry." They left the tower with the invisibility cloak draped over them.

They were able to get to the third floor without any trouble. When they opened the door, they were surprised to see Fluffy already asleep. Mia pulled the cloak off them as they stared at the three headed dog in confusion.
"Snape's already been here." Harry stated, "He's put a spell on the harp."
They step closer to the dog only to get blasted with a huff of air. "Ugh. It's got horrible breath." Ron complained. Mia glanced at the trap door with a frown, it was covered by one of their paws.
