HAGRID HAD BROUGHT them all the way to London. The giant had Harry read off all the books and equipment that he would need making Mia confused as her letter was addressed to a third-year student.

"Hagrid," Mia spoke, catching the giant's attention "What about me? I'm supposed to be a third year student, but I don't know a clue about magic."

"Don' worry your little head, Euphemia. I sent word to McGonagall and she has everything planned for yeh."

Mia nodded, sighing in relief before speaking again "Also, I go by Mia. No one calls me by my full name."  Harry nodded at his sister's words, since he was the one to give her the nickname.

"Alrigh' then, Mia." Hagrid hummed, before coming to a halt. "This is it. The Leaky Cauldron. It's a famous place."

Mia held onto Harry's hand as Hagrid led them inside. A few people were spread throughout the place. Everyone seemed to know Hagrid; they waved and smiled at him, and the barkeeper reached for a glass, saying "Ah, Hagrid! The usual, I presume?"

"No thanks, Tom. I'm on official Hogwarts business." Hagrid replied, before patting Harry and Mia's shoulders "Just helping young Harry and Mia here buy their school supplies."

"Bless my soul," whispered the old barkeeper. "It's Euphemia and Harry Potter."

The Leaky Cauldron had suddenly gone completely still and silent. The barkeeper hurried out from behind the bar, rushing towards the siblings but before he could do anything Mia stepped in front of her brother, protectively.

Hagrid chuckled, "It's alright, Mia. No one here will harm Harry." The young girl glanced up at the giant, before moving beside her brother.

"Welcome back, Miss and Mr. Potter, welcome back."

Then there was a great scraping of chairs, and the Potter siblings found themselves being greeted by everyone in the Leaky Cauldron. Harry didn't seem to mind shaking everyone's hand, as Mia reluctantly shook a few.

A pale young man made his way forward, very nervously. His whole body seemed to be twitching.

"Professor Quirrell!" said Hagrid "Harry, Mia, Professor Quirrell will be your Defense against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts."

"Oh. Nice to meet you."

"F-Fearfully fascinating subject." muttered Professor Quirrell "N-Not that you both n-need it, eh, P-P-Potters?" He laughed nervously.
