LONGER CHAPTER THAN THE USUAL AHEAD!

"u-um, why the heck are you all here?" ochaco asked, her voice trembling slightly as she addressed the mob of students gathered outside class 1-a. her question caught miyuki's attention, prompting her to rise from her seat and take a look at the bustling hallway. the whole school was practically waiting outside.
"do you students have some sort of business with our class?" iida demanded, his posture rigid and authoritative. his eyes scanned the crowd, searching for an answer. "why are you blocking our doorway? i won't let you hold us hostage!" mineta shouted desperately, his eyes wide with panic, making miyuki giggle at his reaction.
"they're scouting out the competition, idiots. we're the class that survived a real villain attack," bakugou stated with his usual confident tone as he walked to the door, hands casually stuffed in his pockets. "at least now you know what a future pro looks like. now move it, extras," he added with a dismissive scoff, his eyes glinting with arrogance.
"you can't walk around calling people 'extras' just because you don't know who they are!" iida exclaimed, waving his hands frantically in the air in an attempt to stop bakugou from speaking any further. his face was flushed with frustration as he tried to maintain order.
"so this is class 1-a," a voice cut through the tension, drawing everyone's attention to a purple-haired boy standing at the front of the crowd. his eyes were cold. "i heard you guys were impressive, but you just sound like an ass. is everyone in the hero course delusional, or just you? how sad to come here and find a bunch of egomaniacs. i wanted to be in the hero course, but like many others here, i was forced to choose a different track. such is life. i didn't cut it the first time around, but i have another chance. if any of us do well in the sports festival, the teachers can decide to transfer us to the hero course. and they'll have to transfer people out to make room."
miyuki scoffed, irritated by the boy's audacity. she could feel her blood boiling at his arrogance. "scouting the competition? maybe some of my peers are, but i'm here to let you know that, if you don't bring your very best, i'll steal your spot right from under you. consider this a declaration of war."
miyuki had heard enough. she moved carefully through her classmates, her eyes locked on the boy, before standing next to bakugou, who was already glaring at him. "you're calling us delusional, but look at you thinking you'll be able to steal one of our spots. pathetic." she rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. "now move out of my way," she said, pushing through the crowd with determination.
it bothered her how they were being hated on for surviving a villain attack in which they had no control over whatsoever.
ochaco watched in admiration as miyuki walked off, her eyes wide with surprise. "i've never seen that side of satomi," she remarked, her voice filled with awe.
