the teens stood paralyzed with fear, a heavy presence bearing down on them that radiated pure evil. it was like nothing they had ever felt before, a dark aura that made the air around them feel thick and suffocating. each one of them could feel it, making their bodies tremble with terror.
they could barely make out the conversation the villain was having with the pro heroes in the distance. the voices were muffled, but from the sounds of it, the villain had taken them all down in an instant.
we have to go, but i can't move. the thought echoed through miyuki's mind as she clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms. fear anchored her feet to the ground. who is this villain?
then, a familiar voice broke through her thoughts. "damn it. the hell?" katsuki. her head snapped toward the sound, eyes wide with a mixture of hope and dread.
the conversation ahead became clearer now.
"so. you've failed once more, tomura. but you must not be discouraged. you'll try again. that's why i brought your associates back with you. even this child, because you judged that he was an important piece on your game board." the villain's voice was calm, almost nurturing, which made it more unsettling. he paused before continuing, "start over as many times as it takes. i am here to provide you with help. all of this is for you."
miyuki stared at the ground, her heart racing. she knew she couldn't freak out, not now. she needed to think rationally, to keep her emotions in check. she couldn't mess up like she did last time.
the leader hasn't noticed us yet. if he had, he wouldn't be talking so freely right now. miyuki's mind raced. there are only a few meters between us and kacchan. i could fly over there and get him, but could i get away in time? and what about the others? would i put them in more danger? she needed a plan, a way to reach him without everything falling apart.
miyuki tried to take a step forward. izuku and todoroki moved in unison with her, but iida stepped in front, blocking their way. his jaw was clenched so tightly it looked painful. fear twisted his features. miyuki's gaze remained fixed on bakugou, her determination burning through the fear.
"ah. there you are." the leader's voice cut through the air, calm and composed, sending a chill down their spines. the teens gasped softly. had he found them?
a loud crash followed, and miyuki and izuku quickly peered through a hole in the wall. they were still hidden, concealed in the dark.
"i'll have you return my student, all for one!" it was all might. his voice was filled with fury and determination before launching at him. "have you come to kill me a second time, all might?" all for one's voice was mocking as he raised his hand to stop all might's punch.
but he failed. all might's punch unleashed a fierce wind, sending the league of villains flying. reacting quickly, miyuki redirected the wind, ensuring it wouldn't knock her and her friends off balance.
"no. there's too many of them!" izuku whispered, his eyes darting around the battlefield.
"it took you long enough to find us. it's only five kilometers from the bar to here, and yet it was at least seconds after i sent the nomus that you arrived," all for one continued, his voice dripping with disdain. "you've gotten weaker, all might."
"you're one to talk. it's kind of difficult to ignore that fancy life-support mask you've got on. aren't you overexerting yourself?" all might shot back, his voice steady as he stood tall.
"i won't repeat the mistake i made five years ago. you hear me? i will take young bakugo back. and i will make certain you're locked up for the rest of your sad life. right along with your despicable league of villains." all might's shout echoed across the battlefield as he launched himself at all for one.
