(a/n) this chapter is shorter than the others, but i hope you all enjoy!

miyuki and izuku were finally allowed to leave the hospital the day after todoroki was discharged. as they stepped out into the crisp morning air, miyuki's heart fluttered with excitement. she was still able to intern with edgeshot for the rest of the week.

during the rest of her internship, edgeshot taught her the basics of being a hero. she didn't know much about edgeshot before her internship, but as he taught her things, he became someone she truly admired and trusted. not just as a hero, but as her mentor and as a person.

returning to school, miyuki walked into the classroom, a bright smile illuminating her face.

"satomi! wow, that scar looks intense..." ochaco exclaimed, her eyes widening as she got closer to examine the mark on miyuki's face.

"do you think so?" miyuki responded, a playful glint in her eyes. "do you think if hawks saw me he'd be like 'whoa, she's badass' and ask me to marry him?" she grinned broadly, flexing her arms to emphasize her point.

"looks like satomi is doing well," ojiro remarked with a chuckle. "yeah," sero agreed. everyone was now used to her crush on the pro hero.

miyuki changed in the locker room alongside the rest of the girls, but a thought weighed on her mind. she remembered the conversation she'd had with izuku and bakugou, where izuku revealed that his quirk was not originally his own but was given to him by someone else. the mystery of who that might be lingered in her thoughts recently. she had a suspicion of who it was.

as the girls finished changing and prepared to head out to meet all might, miyuki made a mental note to ask izuku about it later.

"hey, satomi," yaoyorozu called out, catching up with her friend.

"hi, yaoyorozu, what's up?" miyuki responded, linking their arms with a friendly smile.

"are you okay? do you think you should be training so soon? i mean, your wounds are barely healing," yaoyorozu expressed, concern filled her face.

"of course i'm okay! my injuries don't bother me a lot anymore," miyuki assured her, waving off her friend's worries with a dismissive hand. yaoyorozu nodded, accepting her answer but still concerned.

"oh! i wanted to ask! would you like to have a sleepover on saturday?" miyuki asked eagerly, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"a sleepover? what will we do?" yaoyorozu asked, genuinely confused but intrigued.

"we can do anything that sounds fun!" miyuki explained, her enthusiasm infectious.

yaoyorozu's eyes lit up. "like reading?" she inquired, her excitement growing. miyuki chuckled, "yup!"

"i'd love to! could it be at my house? i can ask mother to help prepare snacks and movies! we can watch movies in our theater and then read books!" miyuki smiled at yaoyorozu's bubbling enthusiasm.

"of course! i'll buy us matching pajamas!" miyuki said excitedly, already planning the fun in her head.

the two girls finally reached their classmates, joining them just as all might was about to start the lesson.

"i am here!" all might exclaimed with his usual booming voice, a presence that filled the room with energy and anticipation.

"hope you're ready to return to our lessons. today it's hero basic training. feels like i haven't seen you in a while. welcome back." he greeted the students with warmth.
