miyuki and izuku exchanged a look of pure horror, their hearts pounding at the chaos unfolding before them. bakugou was trapped by the sludge villain. the creature had wrapped its body around him, suffocating the boy with its slimy grasp.

"kacchan..." miyuki's voice wavered, barely above a whisper as she watched bakugou try to fight back as he struggled to breathe.

without a second thought, miyuki and izuku abandoned everything, bolting toward the villain without hesitation. the world around them blurred, the screams of bystanders and the crackling of flames being ignored by them. all they could think about was reaching bakugou, somehow saving him from the villain.

"no you idiots! stop! you're going to get yourselves killed!" a pro hero's voice shouted at them, but it was too late. the two teens charged forward, their only focus on the friend trapped in the villain's grip.

miyuki's palms crackled with electricity as she summoned her lightning, at the sludge villain. but it was useless. the villain twisted its body, creating a gap for the lightning to pass through harmlessly. desperation clawed at miyuki's chest as she tried to strike him with her wind, only for him to do the same thing he did with her lightning.

izuku, ripped his backpack from his shoulders and hurled it at the villain. a book struck the creature's eye, causing it to loosen its grip on bakugou's mouth and nose. relief washed over miyuki as she saw bakugou take a deep breath.

"kacchan!" both izuku and miyuki yelled in unison as they reached the villain. with frantic hands, they clawed at the sludge, trying to pull bakugou free from its grip.

"what the hell are you guys doing here?!" bakugou's voice was a raspy growl, his eyes burning with a mix of fury and confusion.

"i-i don't know!" izuku stammered, his voice thick with fear and adrenaline. "my legs just moved on their own!"

"mine too!" miyuki sobbed, her fingers digging into the sludge as she fought to free her friend. the more they struggled, the more hopeless it seemed.

tears blurred miyuki's vision as she realized that their efforts were useless. "izuku! my quirk isn't working on him! what do we do? oh god, kacchan, are you okay? please, hang in there!" the words fell from her lips. she couldn't bear the thought of anyone she cared about being hurt.

"kacchan... we couldn't just stand there and watch you die!" izuku forced a shaky smile, trying to keep his own fear at bay, but miyuki could see the terror in his eyes. she wished she could be as brave as he was pretending to be, but the fear was too overwhelming.

"get the hell off me!" bakugou snarled at the villain, still struggling to free himself as the creature's grip tightened once more.

miyuki's heart pounded in her chest, her breath coming in ragged gasps as they continued to claw at the sludge. the villain's voice, sent chills down her spine. "just a little longer, kid... and i'm done playing with you!"

the sludge villain formed a massive hand, raising it to swat miyuki and izuku away like insects. miyuki's eyes widened in terror as she braced for the impact.

"save the boy! this thing will kill him!" a pro hero shouted as several heroes launched themselves at the villain.

time seemed to slow as izuku threw himself in front of miyuki, his body trembling with fear but he was firm on shielding her. an explosion filled the area, the force of it knocking the breath from miyuki's lungs. before she could comprehend what was happening, a tall and buff figure appeared in front of them.
