The new guy. Won Minhyun or Alex, as his English name. I don't like him already.

He's quiet until he does that weird smile. He acts so flirty and talks too easily. No wonder he's the face of their communications team. I appreciate his way of speaking, but not with that smile. He's annoying. I miss Danny...

However, the Velasquez family had seen the correction we made in our files and they flipped. They used that excuse to try to get Jordan back. They filed a complaint and tried to sue us. It wasn't pretty.

Our company has many lawyers that can help protect our projects and reputation. But Danny has no one. They tried attacking Danny when they found out it was him. My boss did not want to help, so I had a firm talk with him about the contract we had with his company. We will get in trouble if we leave Mr. Jung's employee all alone in this.

So my boss thought that the best solution to indirectly help him is to get him a lawyer that the company can pay for. I knew just the person.

Finally, I was able to have some time with Danny. Finding a family for Jordan has taken too much time on my schedule and I can barely find time to visit him at the tech department. But today, not even Alex was here and I warmly held Danny's hand as we went to the meeting with Mr. Chu.

"I've missed you," he gently says as I choose the music in his car.

I give him a warm smile and decide to give his cheek a kiss. He does a blush that leaves warm bubbles in my chest. I sit back and say, "After the meeting, let's get something to drink."

"Just you and me?"

"Unless you want to invite your friends," I playfully say.

He shakes his head and laughs. "I was thinking that Mr. Won would be with you. I'm surprised he's not here."

I shrug. "He sent me a message saying he couldn't come and had already explained to the boss. I don't mind. I'm glad he's not here. I can finally see you."

Danny gives me shining eyes showing his heart melting. But he softly says, "What if he's sick? Or in the hospital?"

I raise my brows and scoff. "Why are you always so dramatic? He's fine. I don't think anything can stop him from doing what he wants. He's a free spirit."

Danny takes my hand and there seems to be a slight furrow in his gentle expression. He's worried as he says, "Has he been treating you okay?"

"Yes. Why? Should I be cautious?"

"No. He's just...He sometimes doesn't think twice when he speaks."

I chuckle and nod in agreement. "Honestly, we are too similar. We might burn this place down. But don't worry. You know I don't let anyone disrespect me easily."

"It's true. You give fear."

I laugh and intertwine my fingers with his. "And yet here you are. You like to suffer, Danny."

He gives me his childish grin that makes butterflies soar in my stomach and says, "I don't mind anything as long as I have you."

I scoff at his words even if it makes my heart leap. I give his arm a small slap and say, "Since when you have been so good with words? Don't be too open with everyone, Danny. Be kind to me the most."

"I like to be kind but I am only yours."

"Geez!" I give his arm another slap that makes him jump. "What is up with you today?"

He chuckles and opens the door for me as we step out of the car. I let out a soft sigh when I saw Mr. Chu sitting by a large glass wall. Danny also seems to swallow with nerves and I give his hand a warm squeeze. My small smile reassures him to start towards Mr. Chu.
