It's the first time I've been with someone so intimately.

At least, that's how it feels like and that's what I'm telling myself. He erases all the regrets and shame with just the touch of his skin on mine. His lips are like refreshing waters making my heart rest at the breeze of those waves. I miss him the moment he lets go of my hand. I want more of him every time I watch him leave in his perfect suit.

I feel like floating and I can almost soar with each little thought of him. He tells me I have saved his lost soul. Does he know he has made my soul alive with each melody he gives me every time he speaks to me? He has taught me to carry a song in me where my heart can dance even if he is far from me. He has awakened this soul and I don't know if it was the best idea. I don't know what will happen with such a flame and I don't know if the consequences will be painful. But it feels so good...

I can't go back.

I smile at the memory of my quick visit to his office at the university. He locked the door of his office and I sat on his lap on his pretty leather sofa. The view of the city stood by our side on the large glass wall and I softly kissed him so the world could see that I had fallen in love. For real this time. I let my lips linger on his and he chuckled as he wrapped his strong arms around my waist to hold me steady.

That's what he does. He keeps me steady when I am not by his side, but the moment he pulls me closer...the rush makes my heart lose control and dance for the rest of the moment.

I've been wanting to chat with Leanne about how I feel. I have told my sister and even a little bit to my mother, but I can't go into much detail with them. Only Leanne can listen to these wild thoughts that consume me.

So I found my girl after a surgery she had. She was getting something to eat and she still had on her surgery mask around her neck and head cap. She sees me approaching and her eyes lighten up among her exhaustion.

"Hey! I haven't seen you in a while. Will you get lunch?"

"I already did, but I'll get a small snack so I can eat with you. You still have your mask and cap on."

"Oh. Right," she says with a chuckle. She tries to take them off and I quickly help her untie them from behind.

"How was the surgery?"

"Good. He's alive. That's all that matters. It was a long one, too."

"At what time was it?"

"Can you believe he made me get up at 7:00 AM?"

"How dare he."

"I know! So I couldn't eat breakfast."

I check my watch and my eyes grow wide. "That surgery was four hours long?"

She nods with a tired sigh and smiles at the volunteer behind the cash register. "Four hours. There were some complications and I had to go with Plan B. But he's alive. He might need another surgery in a few months, but we'll see what his body decides to do."

She starts to eat and I quietly enjoy our silence. She looks around and smiles at some colleagues she recognizes. I warmly soak in the gentle silence of my friend. Even her silence seems so wise and serious, but her smiles make her warm and kind. I have missed my best friend. It's time to have a girl's night and get a break from the man.

So I happily suggest the idea. She looks through her schedule and nods. "Okay. I can go the day before I have to go to the library with Yujun."

I smile at the image of a concentrated Leanne looking through articles and writing with a silly and warm Yujun stealing glances at her by her side. "Oh, cute."
