After the whirlwind of childbirth, the doctors gently whisked Ivy away into the nursery area for the night, where she would receive round-the-clock care and attention. Born on February 16th at 1:36 in the morning, she entered the world with a gentle cry that filled Eva and Leah's hearts with immense joy and relief.

Exhausted from the long hours of labor, Eva found herself nodding off in the chair beside Leah's hospital bed, her hand still clasped tightly in Leah's. Leah, too, succumbed to the comforting embrace of sleep, her features soft and serene in the dim light of the room.

As dawn broke, casting a soft golden glow through the window, the hospital bustled with the quiet hum of activity. Nurses moved about the room, performing routine tests and checks on both Leah and Ivy to ensure they were healthy and thriving.

Once all the tests were completed and everything was deemed satisfactory, the doctors carefully placed Ivy into Eva's waiting arms. Holding her newborn daughter close, Eva felt an overwhelming surge of love and tenderness wash over her.

Leah watched on with tears of joy in her eyes, her heart bursting with love as she witnessed the precious bond forming between mother and daughter. It was a moment of pure magic, etched in their memories forever.

As Eva welcomed Ivy into the world with a soft kiss on her forehead, Leah's heart swelled with gratitude and love for the beautiful family they had created together. In that tender moment, surrounded by the love and support of their family, Eva and Leah knew that their lives were forever changed for the better.

"Mommy! Mama!" Dylan's voice echoed through the hospital room, filled with excitement and curiosity as he bounded towards Leah, his eyes wide with wonder.

Leah's heart swelled with love as she watched her son approach, Ivy cradled gently in her arms. "Hey there, big brother," she greeted him with a warm smile, her eyes shining with pride.

Dylan's face lit up with joy as he reached out to touch Ivy's tiny fingers, his touch as gentle as a feather. "She's so small, Mommy!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with awe.

Viv and Beth stood in the doorway, their hearts melting at the sight before them. "Look at him, Beth," Viv whispered, her eyes misting over with emotion. "He's going to be the best big brother."

Beth nodded, her own eyes brimming with tears of happiness. "He really is," she replied softly, her heart overflowing with love for her friends and their growing family.

Meanwhile, Eva sat in the chair beside Leah's bed, her gaze fixed on the heartwarming scene unfolding before her. She couldn't help but feel a sense of overwhelming gratitude for the precious moments they were all sharing together.

As Dylan continued to marvel at his new little sister, Leah and Eva exchanged a glance filled with love and pride. In that moment, surrounded by their loved ones, they knew their family was complete.

Eva scooped up Dylan into her arms, his infectious giggles filling the air as they prepared to leave the hospital. "Come on, champ," she said with a grin, "let's go home and get things ready for Mommy and Ivy."

Dylan nodded eagerly, his excitement palpable as he clung to Eva. He couldn't wait to show Ivy around their home and introduce her to all of his favorite toys.

Meanwhile, Leah was busy gathering her belongings and preparing to leave the hospital with Ivy. She felt a rush of emotions as she held her precious daughter close, her heart overflowing with love and gratitude.

Finally, the moment arrived, and Leah was given the green light to head home with Ivy. As they stepped out of the hospital together, Leah couldn't help but smile as she saw Dylan waiting eagerly with Eva.

With Dylan leading the way, they made their way home, their hearts full of joy and anticipation for the new chapter that lay ahead. As they arrived home, Dylan wasted no time in showering his new baby sister with love and affection, his excitement contagious as he proudly showed her around their home.

Leah and Eva watched with hearts full of love and pride as their children bonded, knowing that their family was now complete. As they settled into their new routine together, they knew that their home would always be filled with love, laughter, and endless joy.

As Leah lathered shampoo into her hair upstairs, Eva, Dylan, and Ivy were downstairs in the living room. Eva had been feeling the urge to use the toilet for a while now, but she didn't want to disturb Leah's shower. She glanced at Dylan, who was playing with some toys on the floor, and Ivy, who was lying contentedly on the sofa.

."Dylan, could you please keep an eye on Ivy for me while I quickly pop to the toilet?"

Dylan nodded eagerly, his eyes shining with responsibility. "Of course, Mama! I'll take good care of Ivy," he promised.

"Thank you, Dylan," Eva said warmly, ruffling his hair affectionately. She settled Ivy more comfortably on the sofa before heading to the bathroom, relieved to finally relieve herself.

As Eva rushed to the toilet, she heard sudden screaming from Ivy. Panic surged through her as she hurriedly finished her business and dashed back to the living room. Leah, still in just a towel, was already there, comforting Ivy, while Dylan looked on with wide eyes.

"What happened?" Leah asked, her tone edged with concern as she cradled Ivy in her arms.

Dylan hesitated, his gaze dropping to the floor. "I... I didn't mean to," he murmured, his voice barely audible.

Eva's heart sank as she approached them. "What happened, Dylan?" she asked, her tone firm.

Dylan shuffled uncomfortably. "I accidentally knocked Ivy's head with my knee when I was getting on the sofa," he admitted in a shy voice.

Eva's frustration bubbled up, and before she could stop herself, she blurted out, "For fuck's sake." Leah's stern look silenced her instantly.

"Eva," Leah scolded, her tone sharp. "Language."

Eva winced, regretting her outburst. "I'm sorry," she muttered, casting a remorseful glance at Ivy.

Leah sighed, her concern evident as she gently admonished Dylan, "You need to be more careful, sweetheart. Ivy's just a little baby, and you have to watch out for her."

Dylan's lower lip trembled, and tears welled up in his eyes. "I-I didn't mean to," he sobbed, his voice quivering with emotion.

Leah's heart softened as she gathered him into a comforting embrace. "I know, honey," she murmured soothingly, rubbing his back in small circles. "I know you didn't mean to hurt her. But accidents happen, and we just have to try our best to prevent them, okay?"

Dylan nodded, sniffling as he wiped away his tears. "Okay," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

Leah pressed a tender kiss to his forehead. "It's okay, Dylan. We all make mistakes. Just remember to be more careful next time, alright?"

Dylan nodded again, his expression a mix of remorse and understanding. With Leah's comforting presence, he gradually calmed down, reassured by her words of wisdom and love.
