"Never, this is not going to happen. How dare you even think I would marry you? This is not happening, understood?" Aditi turned and was about to leave when she heard Abhay getting up and saying, "Aditi, think again. I have the power to halt this operation and let your mother meet her maker. If you can arrange the money, please proceed, but remember this offer is valid only for today."

Aditi felt her body numb hearing the words of her mother dying. She clutched her hand into a fist and took the pen kept on the table and pointed to Abhay's neck. Her eyes were burning in anger.

"What do you want, Abhay? You and your brother have already destroyed me. What more could you possibly want? What have I ever done to you?" With her final words, she succumbed to the tears she had been holding back for so long.

Aditi covered her face and collapsed to her knees, weeping bitterly. Betrayed by her love and with her mother in surgery, she felt as though all these calamities were her fault.

Abhay knelt and offered Aditi a handkerchief. With teary eyes, Aditi gazed back as he gently placed his palm on her cheeks, wiping the tears away.

"Aditi, I promise that Yug will never come close to you again. I want to offer you a fresh start. So please, think about it and tell me, will you marry me?"

Memories of Yug flooded Aditi's mind: his care, his affection, and his warm embrace. Then, the harsh reality intruded as she recalled the brutal way he had treated her mother, shooting her to seize the property. Now, her thoughts were consumed by her mother.

Rising, Aditi gripped the table's edge for support. She faced Abhay and commanded, "Give me the document."

Trembling, she clutched the papers. With a deep breath and closed eyes, she signed them and passed them to him. Aditi departed from the cabin.

His face broke into a devilish, satisfied smirk.

"Welcome to hell, sweetheart."

*NIGHTTIME: 4 am*

Today marks Mahashivratri, the auspicious occasion when Lord Shiva wed Devi Parvati, reuniting two souls. On this sacred day, Mata Parvati adorned herself for Lord Shiva.

Aditi slipped on her earrings and looked into the mirror. Dressed in her red lehenga, she was prepared for Abhay, who had been patiently waiting outside. The lehenga enhanced her beauty, yet her expression was one of sorrow.

As Aditi opened the door and looked up, her eyes met Abhay's, who was captivated by her allure. Abhay found himself enchanted by her appearance.

He grasped Aditi's hand, feeling its softness. Her body was frail, and she walked with a slow pace. Thus, Abhay lifted Aditi into his arms and carried her through the corridor.

She made no attempt to escape or descend. Instead, she rested her head against his chest, akin to a lifeless form. Aditi had no energy left to resist or rebuke him. She surrendered everything to fate.

Abhay seated her in front of the hawan and took his place beside her. The rituals unfolded gradually.

Finally, the pandit instructed to apply vermilion to Aditi's hairline and place the Mangal sutra around her neck. As Abhay leaned in to tie the Mangal sutra, Aditi fainted against him.

Abhay held her close and closed his eyes. The clouds began to thunder and lightning. What was once a calm, moderate weather quickly escalated into a storm. The fire in the Hawan Kund intensified, its flames spreading all around.

The temple bells began to sway, creating a resonant sound.

Pandit Ji stood up, surveyed the scene, pressed his palms together, and exclaimed, "Jai ho Mahakal!"

Abhay's eyes snapped open, glowing red as if the fire itself had taken residence within them.

What happened all of a sudden? What new twist will this story take?
