The fluorescent lights above flickered, casting dull shadows across the shabby police station. Around her, the policemen lounged lazily, sipping tea and chatting about the weather and their weekend plans—completely ignoring her.

Frustration surged like a storm within her. She stood up with a jerk and shouted, her voice trembling with rage and desperation, "Sir, my mother is missing! Do you even understand what that means? Please, I beg you, do something!"

One of the constables rolled his eyes, not even bothering to look up from his cup. "Listen, girl," he said dismissively, "it's pouring outside. We'll start looking once the rain stops. What do you expect us to do? Walk into a flood?"

Aditi's fists tightened, her nails digging into her palms. "Your duty," she roared, "is to protect us, not sit here gossiping like idle fools! She's been gone for three hours. I've pleaded with you five times already. Five! And you've done nothing!"

A chair screeched back. A burly officer stood up, face darkening, about to retaliate with angry words, when suddenly—a commanding voice cut through the chaos like a blade.

"What is going on here?"

Silence fell like a curtain. Every officer in the room straightened in an instant and saluted. Boots clicked together. The tension crackled in the air. And then, he walked in.

He was young—surprisingly so—but his presence filled the room like thunder. His sharp eyes scanned the scene with precision. Clad in a crisp white shirt and dark trousers, his every movement was poised and calculated. The rain had followed him in, droplets glistening on his shoulders like medals of war.

Aditi rushed forward. "Sir, I've been begging them for help. My mother's missing. It's been three hours."

He didn't interrupt. He didn't even blink. He simply listened.

He took in everything—her torn kurti, the blood on her temple, the fear trembling in her voice—and with a silent breath, turned towards his subordinates.

"Is this how you serve the people?" His voice was calm but sharp, like a blade coated in ice. "A girl comes in—injured, desperate—and you sit here like it's chai break at a roadside dhaba?"

No one dared speak. Their heads bowed in shame.

In a swift motion, he pulled out his phone and barked a series of rapid commands. "Track the number she gave. Mobilize a team. Now."

One of the younger constables leaned toward another and whispered, almost reverently, "That's Arjun Rathore, IAS. The Arjun Rathore. What's he doing here at this hour?"

"No idea," the other murmured, awe in his voice. "He rarely even steps into police stations. This must be serious."

But Arjun wasn't there for spectacle. He turned to Aditi with softened eyes, his voice steady. "We'll find your mother. I promise."

In that moment, with rain thundering outside and her heart pounding in her chest, Aditi realized she wasn't alone anymore. A storm had entered the station—but this time, it had come to fight for her

Aditi was fortunate that he arrived and took charge of the situation. Within half an hour, he had located her mother.

His car sped in that direction and eventually halted at a completely abandoned factory. The darkness of the night rendered the place even more eerie.

Arjun raised his torch and motioned for Aditi to follow. As Aditi entered, the sound of gunfire startled her. In a panic, she dashed further inside, leaving Arjun behind.

Arjun's flashlight flickered out, and he lost his way. Feeling along the walls, he cautiously proceeded forward.

Simultaneously, Aditi froze in place, statue-like. Yug confronted her, brandishing a gun at her severely wounded mother. She was bound to a chair, which had toppled over, indicating the extent of her torture. Puddles of blood encircled her.

"MAAAA!!!!!!" Aditi screamed, dashing towards her. She knelt down swiftly and began untying her mother's bonds.

Tears streamed down her face as she beheld her mother's frail form. "Maa, please open your eyes... Look, I'm here, and I won't let anything happen to you," she pleaded.

Yug's father approached from behind and declared, "I am proud of you, my son. At last, our family saga concludes. You have always chosen your family. Henceforth, you are the president of our empire, the Pratap empire. Ensure this area is secured. This woman shall draw her final breath in this very factory."

Yug stood motionless, his gaze fixed on Aditi and Siya. The gun in his hand dropped with a thud to the ground. Aditi was completely entwined in the predicament, her mind ceasing to function.

She rose and seized Yug's collar, hurling him to the ground. Clutching his collar, she leaned over him. "How dare you, Yug Pratap Singh? Why the fuck did you do all this? Just to become the president of your empire. If you had just told me that you valued your position more than our relationship, I would have walked away. So why, WHY DID YOU HARM MY MOTHER?"

Suddenly, Arjun barged into the factory, his gaze quickly shifting from Aditi and Yug to Yug's father, causing him to recoil in shock. His eyes then landed on the lifeless body sprawled on the floor, encircled by blood.

Arjun took out his gun and pointed towards Yug's father. "Leave them right now. Or else I won't hesitate to kill you this time."

How does arjun know Yug's dad? Will Aditi and arjun save Siya ?
