Chapter 16

" I WANT TO HAVE LUNCH WITH YOU. NOW IT IS YOUR HEADACHE HOW YOU WILL BE COMING WITHOUT ANYONE NOTICING. OR ELSE I WILL COME AND TAKE YOU." 

The words written were clear instructions from her boyfriend. She looked at the girl sitting beside her who was controlling her laugh.  

" Seriously, Neha. Now what is this new demand? It would be best if you said that you will meet Nikhil. Now how will I go." she said getting irritated.

For the past two days, she had been fulfilling his strange requests. On the first day, he had her meet him in the office parking lot for what he claimed was urgent work during office hours, yet upon her arrival, he sent a text stating:

"Aww, thanks for listening to me Aditi. I was testing you. I have a meeting now, but I'll catch up with you later." 

She was waiting for her cab because her activa was being used by Vidhi for the day. Suddenly, a car stopped next to her, and the gate opened. She was pulled in by a strong grip, and the doors closed.......... It was Yug again.

He said he wanted to drive her home because she was beautiful. It made no sense, but that was the reason he gave while Aditi glared at him.

Now she was thinking how she would enter his cabin. Just like that it was lunch hour and she called vidhi and told her everything. 

*On call*

Vidhi - Adi, he has no right to order you around. If he wants to have lunch with you, tell him to make the arrangements himself. You're not doing anything wrong, so there's no need to sneak around. Let him put in the effort while you relax.

Aditi chuckled, "Aww, my free advisor. Thank you so much. You're seriously becoming good at this, just like me. Great job." 

They conversed for some time before Aditi ended the call. 

(7:00 pm)

Aditi turned the key to start her Activa, but as her hand moved, someone abruptly switched it off.

"Aditi darling, where are you off to in such a hurry? I asked you to join me for lunch today, and you weren't there. Why?" Yug expected Aditi to apologize for standing him up.

Aditi smiled as she gazed at his face. "Well, Yug, I'm not going to exert effort for your less important tasks. If you want something, strive for it yourself," she stated. She was on the verge of departing when she added, "I am a queen, I enter with royalty, not like thieves," she declared with another smile. Aditi kick-started her Activa and rode out of the parking lot.

Yug was neither shocked nor angry; instead, a satisfied smile spread across his face. "She is the perfect match, not just for me but also as a daughter-in-law to our family." thought he after being slightly impressed by Aditi's aswer

(9:00 pm)

Aditi was casually sitting chatting with her mom. Just then she remembered about the other job offer she got, so she decided to take yug's advice.

she called him to inform him about this. 

*On call* 

Yug - Yes, Rani sa? What is it?

Aditi- Let's get straight to the point. I received an email today from a company offering me a job. Considering that I can manage working for 2 companies from home, what should I do? 

Yug- company's name? 

As soon as Aditi mentioned the company's name, Yug's demeanor shifted abruptly. His eyes darkened, and he clenched his hands into fists. His blood was boiling at this name. 

Yug- I want to meet you right now. I will call you come outside your building.

Yug hung up the call. Aditi looked at the blank screen and started thinking what happened to him suddenly.

Why did Yug react so strangely to the company's name?
